I travel a lot and requested a last minute appointment. 10yrs coming to EWC and this is the kind of service I appreciate! Technique is 10/10 and she KNOWS how to lay and pull wax with ease! I got full legs and a Brazillian and was out quickly! She pulled out the powder and the tweezers! Her attention to detail was great and had just the right about of convo vs silence lol I am a happy customer. My review is not for the wax itself but for the front desk girl who checked me in. When I arrived, I asked if they had a restroom. Her response was "We do have a restroom. However, we also have a late policy. Your appointment was scheduled for 10 AM and it is 10:04." I said "I understand but I also have nine minutes for that late policy. I would like to use the restroom before my wax." She replied "Can you do it quickly?" As if I were a kindergartner trying to get out of focusing in class. I said, of course, I can do it quickly. She then said, "I can't guarantee I can hold your appointment if you take too long." Front desk lady needs some customer service skills. After this location messed up my eyebrows about a year ago I decided to give it another try and man am I glad I did! Front desk receptionists were so nice and very helpful!! Stephanie is so great! I am in and out in 20 minutes tops with the Brazilian and check out. She educated me on how to take care of that area after being waxed, what to do and what not to do, products that will help the process of hair growth and skin changes. Stephanie is also very professional, but still a real person you can relate to and laugh with during the service. I will be back every 4 weeks. Thank you ladies! I've seen some negative reviews on here, and I have to say the things people have complained about aren't a representation of this facility or Stephanie by any means. This place is so clean and sanitary that you would think you're in a doctors office (that's huge for me). Yes, they educate you on product, because guess what... you need it. It's like spending $200 on your hair to get colored and not using professional products. You can't maintain your beautiful professional hair with $15 products from Walmart. Am I right?! It is a reasonable comparison in my eyes. Also as a business owner myself, they do everything perfect through check out and making sure you're taken care of. Yes, they have amazing package deals so that you can save money when you continue to come back. I'm thankful for that. They aren't pushy with it, they simply inform you. If you're wondering if it hurts (of course) when you're first starting out it is a little painful. If you keep up with it, it's not as painful. Go see Stephanie. I have been going to the EWC on 15th street for almost 4 years now. The front desk ladies are always very kind and helpful, especially when I have to change my appointment the day prior due to work conflicts. Stephanie is my favorite waxer. She is always quick and efficient. She will let you know the skin care routine you need for your specific skin type and she does a really thorough job at getting every single hair! She has even told me multiple times that if she missed any hairs, I could come in the next day and get a free touch up. I love this place! I got a Brazilian and the wax specialist made me feel super comfortable for my first time! They are persistent with making a sale with their products (hair minimizer, ingrown hair serum, etc), but to be honest these products work! You don't need every single one, I got the body polish and ingrown hair serum and when I went into my next appointment, the wax took shorter time and my hairs came out so much easier. I was smoother the second time around! The front desk ladies are not very professional, which is annoying and why i gave them four stars, but the specialist was super professional and made me feel very comfortable! read more

Emily C. Did a great job on my brows, I was Pleased since I was trying someone new. She got me right in and I booked my appointment in like 10 minutes before I got there. I would go back To her again. The only thing i am disappointed about was the "free eyebrow wax" I didn't have my eyebrows waxed on my first visit and was told I could not voucher to have the free eyebrow for my second visit. Kinda sucks since a different location told me I would still be able to use it on my next visit. read more

I have to say, this review is specifically for Devon. Every waxer is going to be different, but I 100% recommend Devon. I have been unimpressed with some of the other waxers at this location and the one off of Penn, but Devon is perfect!! My mom also recommends Mariah at this location. I never let anyone touch my eyebrows before having Devon (because another EWC employee botched them so badly that it took 2 years for them to grow back in), but she makes them look amazing. I went to European wax center in Edmond for my first Brazilian wax and was EXTREMELY dissatisfied. The esthetician waxed huge pieces at a time and when I told her of my discomfort and asked if I could have a brief second she replied, "No, because the appointment was only 15 minutes." The whole experience seemed rushed and there was hardly any concern for me, as the customer, at all. It seemed like they were only concerned with getting people in and out as fast as they can, rather than giving a quality wax. I totally understand that a Brazilian wax will be painful. I expected that going into the appointment. But, since my experience at EWC, I have went to Waxing the city in Moore and have had a complete 180 as far as overall experience. It was not a pain free wax at all, but the difference was highly significant because they waxed smaller pieces, took their time, and did more skin care. I would not recommend EWC. read more

Went for my first chest wax and my experience was terrible!! I would have had better luck using a dirty switch blade on my chest. I have what looks like razor bumps all over chest and stomach, red and several white heads! I thought getting wax would have better results then shaving, but that not the case here! I won't go back or recommend anyone! It's been over 48hrs and it just gets worse. I'm thinking they are using unsanitary supplies is the cause. I called and complained, and no one ever returned my call. Go else where! You will thank me! read more

This was my first experience to ever be waxed, let alone a Brazilian. Everyone from the front room staff to my wax specialist, Dee, was amazing. The girls up front were great about checking me in and telling me about the skin care products while being so friendly, and Dee was incredible about making me feel super comfortable and walking me through every step and kept me laughing the whole time! I love the staff here, extremely friendly and so knowledgable! When I walked in, I was greeted with an enthusiastic, Welcome to European Wax Center. The lady at the front desk checked me in and show me their huge collection products! I love the attention to detail they have with their products. Especially because I tend to have ingrown hairs from waxing. She showed my their ingrown hair serum, to help me not break out. The waxer was gentle and very courteous. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during the whole service. I scheduled another appointment to see her. I purchased the ingrown hair serum and body exfoliate, so I can keep everything nice and smooth. If you want a clean environment and friendly staff, this is the place to go! read more

The services are great and the techs do a great job but management is rude and unwelcoming at times even argumentative. The manager Brandi is rude to staff and talks down to them in front of customers. I even heard her repremand an employee in the lobby and when she saw others lookingshe moved to the back. Horrible service, they try to push products and the bikini wax I got here was absolutely horrible! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went in for a bikini wax and while I was waiting for my appointment the workers at the front desk tried to get me to buy their package for more waxes. When I informed them that I don't live near a European Wax Center and I was only in Oklahoma for a month, they asked me where I live and then looked up there locations in the area. They then proceeded to tell me that there are locations in Arizona where I live. I told them that there were none in the town that I live in and that the closest one would be a 2 hour drive from me. They tried to play it off like it wasn't a big deal and still insisted that I buy the package! I found this to be extremely rude and pushy and I probably should have left then. When I went into my waxing appointment the girl helping me was friendly at first but I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. At the other waxing places I have been to, they leave you in the room alone so you can undress and get comfortable, this is not the case here. She told me to undress and lay of the table and then watched me the entire time. When waxing me she went over the area multiple times which made it extremely uncomfortable and painful. I was also burned by the wax several times even after I had told her that the wax was very hot and was burning me. She also did too big of sections which is very painful. I still had a lot of hair left when she was done and she made no attempt to fix it. I also had a horrible rash from where she went over the same area multiple times. Overall this was the worst waxing experience I have ever had and I absolutely do not recommend The European Wax Center to anyone. read more

I am a customer with EWC in other states for more than 2 years and I recently moved to OK state and I was happy that I found it so close to my house. The staff here are very friendly and helpful as always!! My waxer from my first day there (on August 2016) till this day is Stephanie. She is AMAZING!! This location had friendly and knowledgeable staff, but terrible management. I made an appt for a bikini wax and was told that they had a special for a free eyebrow wax, so I gladly scheduled both. My technician did a great job, and afterwards she sold me a cream and a lotion. When I arrived at home, I realized I had been charged for the eyebrow wax that was advertised as 'free'. I also realized that while I loved the cream, I did not need the (unopened) lotion. I return to the location the next day to explain the mix up with the eyebrow wax and return the lotion. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and kind, but told me that she couldn't help me as only the manager was authorized to make returns. I gave her my cell and asked to have the manager call me when she was back in the store. I returned to this location twice more (on varying times and days) to have the same friendly staff give me the same story, each time leaving my cell number and after asking if the manager (Brandy?) has a schedule, was told that it varies. After trying for the third time today (earlier than normal as I was home from work) unsuccessfully, I will not be returning to this location for a wax, a return, or anything else. read more

The girl up front was very stand off ish and a bit rude. I could have overlooked these things but my eyebrows and lip look like they need to be waxed. I thought the place was clean and well kept. I was happy with the price, it was very reasonable for a Brazilian. My waxer was very nice, made you feel completely comfortable. Although, I was a little displeased as when I got home I noticed that all the hair had definitely not been waxed. I feel as if the appointment was a little rushed. Though for the price I paid w/ the discount I was not extremely upset, though I still expect for all the hair to be gone. Still would recommend this place, especially for the reasonable price compared to other places and the staff was nice. After just being a little displeased w/ my first Brazilian the manager called me and was so generous and wanted to fix everything and was so polite. Very disappointed in this business. I made an appointment for my 16 year old for a 20.00 brow wax. When she checked out she was charged 45.00. She came home and we looked at the receipts - she had been set up for a 180.00 pre-pay package without being asked. I immediately called and was told the charges could not be reversed without a manager, and she would not be in for two days. To top it off - her brows are noticeably uneven!! read more

Terrible experience at European Wax Center. The two lady at front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. It was my first time coming there and they disrespect me with "This is so weird" repeatedly, due to the same phone number on file attached with another profile. I think they are weird. Phone numbers can change as many times as you want but personal information does not change. They were stand off and terribly rude. Even after I walked into the room for waxing, they were whispering and looking at me weirdly. I went with my friend and they treated her terrible also. My friend was planning on booking at their place but due to the bad service, she does not want to come back. After my wax, they even forced me to make a reservation for the upcoming appointment even though I told them that I will call in and schedule whenever I had time. But no, they insist me on making a reservation at the spot. The lady that does my wax is extremely nice and welcoming. But due to all the trouble, I will not come back here. read more
