I was just in a different salon 1.5 weeks ago so did not need a pedicure yet- unfortunately the previous salon who did my nails did a poor job and all of the dip popped off of my nails because they did not base or cure them properly so I needed my nails done way too early. Peter did my dip manicure and this is by far the best dip manicure I've ever had! He was meticulous about every step of the process and I am so happy with the results! Although, I recently I came in for prom nails and I was thrown off by the service. I was seated with the blue eyed young lady closest to the sinks. I explained to her what I wanted and I asked for her opinion like i've done in the past with other nail artists. I showed her a picture of my dress and I had asked her if the salon had any gems of that color. She had came back with a totally different color and I calmly reminded her that my dress was pink and not red. She threw down her hands on top of the gems and raised her voice and seemed annoyed. I felt uncomfortable so I had told her that it was fine and the black french tips were fine on their own. She had suggested I put gold gems on my cuticle. I appreciated her opinion and I told her yess. She proceeded and showed me after doing a singular nail and asked me if it had looked okay. I looked and I assumed that since Im going to pay for them and they are my prom nails that I can tell her I wanted them a different way. So I had asked her, "Im sorryy, do you think maybe you could do 3 gems instead of the 5 across the cuticle". She threw my hands and her supplies that she was holding and raised her voice, yet again. I was shocked and honestly a bit embarrassed. I told her that it was fine, and she didn't have to do the gems because I didn't want to have to deal with the attitude the entire time. She proceeded, with her voice raised, and said "I don't know what you want". I was confused at why she was yelling at me so I had just reexplained what I was wanting. She continues to do the gems on my other hand aggressively. She was throwing my hands and being rough when putting my hands in the UV light. She continued to be aggressive the rest of the appointment. I felt as if it were my fault so I kept apologizing and I even told her they were pretty, even though I wasn't too happy with them. She ignored me and even went as far as pointing to me and my hands and mocking my apologies to the woman beside her. I left embarrassed and unhappy. This had never happened to me at this salon before and I was really disappointed. A family friend of mine had gone in the same day, and was seated with the same lady. She had said that the lady was very rude and raised her voice at her daughter. This seems like a patten and I would recommend that if you come and get seated with this lady, you ask for someone else. Other than this unfortunate experience , I had always had a wonderful time. I genuinely do recommend this salon, but I will not be returning.
