rude and did not listen to how i wanted my nails done. I asked for medium nails came home with shorties same size as my natural nail. was there 2hours then they asked to soak off to redo. Don't waste your money here. Every time we go a tip was added without us knowing to whatever they want to charge. Plus they would accept the tip I would give once walking out. Please don't go here. I paid for one of the more expensive pedicures on my last visit there. It was one of the worst. Light, quick, almost non-existent massage. No top coat (???!!!) It seemed as though the nail tech had not been trained. There are no cosmetology licenses in sight, so it is difficult to know. The owner, "Judy," and her son (a "med student") are extremely arrogant. The prices are simply too expensive for the quality of service. And I hate that because I live nearby in Lakeridge, and the location is convenient. After my last experience there, I've been going to a real spa. I'm very disappointed on how I was treated I got to the Venetian for my pedicure. I got there at 5:30 and was told to have a sit at any chair. I got ready for my pedicure ( took my shoes/socks off) NO ONE acknowledged me I understand busy. But no one asked me for a drink, no one asked to soak my feet. I saw several of the ladies walking by and they were looking at me, but no one came up and offered me a drink. One thing that I can say is when I walked in they should've said I'm sorry, but we're busy there is a wait instead of having me sit and wait. I put my shoes back on and now I heard people talking and whispering because I was about to walk out. I called on the phone and told them that I was there and I waited 30 minutes. She said that they were busy. I'm sorry we're not busy now. One of the ladies is done. I told her I had somewhere to be. Not a happy customer very disappointed this is how people lose business because no one acknowledges the customer. read more

I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this place the lady that started my nails was not nice at all!! She began by being rude when I took "too long" to find an inspo pic. She began doing my nails and didn't ask exact length of nails i wanted and cut them and kept going! While doing them after she cut my nail (shown in picture below), then continued to file my nails to a horrible and uneven shape on all nails! After all this i asked her to just remove the tips and she made it a big deal and sent me to another women to handle it! While getting them removed they were openly talking about me negatively with me sitting right there!! So definitely do not go here horrible service!! and to add to all of this I don't think anyone is licensed in that building, there is only one license on the wall when there is 7 other employees working!!! read more

I've been getting my nails done for years and Venetian by far is the best in Lubbock! They always have taken care of me, if I have an appointment or not. I go to Tiffany and Ben, who always go above and beyond. I always bring in an inspiration photo for color and my shape and they kill it every time. The few times I've broken/chipped a nail, they fix it with no charge. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

My boyfriend and I went for pedicures. They took quite a while to get to us and there were like 4 other people in the salon, not many people working. We were offered waters and soda. We enjoyed the massages and I just got regular paint and it was rushed and looked bad. Probably won't return. Not worth the price. read more

Don't go here!!! They cut nearly every finger during my manicure while filing and when I told them they wouldn't give me a refund or anything. They broke skin and I have been bleeding from it. I came in to get my nails done, not to be injured and risk an infection. I never complain about services but this is unacceptable. read more

We called ahead and made reservations. It was not too crowded at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. They were helpful in helping me decide on nail color. I mentioned wanting to do a design and the lady that was doing my pedi/mani said that she would get another lady to do the design. I found a picture on Pinterest and showed it to the lady doing the design. She did such a great job! One my friends that came with us doesn't like the hot towels or the massage on her legs and in the past at other nail salons they have made such a big deal about it! So when she mentioned it- they were very understanding and offered the wax instead. They were very accommodating! The salon was clean. Overall it was a good experience. I keep trying to give this salon a benefit of the doubt but they constantly fail. We had an appt today for three of us. We were still waiting 45 minutes later. Then two customers walked in and majically two ladies appeared to do their pedicures while we still waited. We told the owner who said that the pedicurists had gone to get their kids. However, they had scheduled us anyway knowing that someone would not be there to help us. Apparently this happens very frequently. Save your time and money and go to Glory Nails. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon that does dip but does not rip my nailbed up. This place was quick with getting us in, my nail bed and cuticles were not touched (I prefer that). They were able to do the design I wanted. Good color selections, no overwhelming smells. read more

I loved this nail experience. I have recently taken a liking to getting my nails dipped. Some people refer to it as SNS or Next Gen, but most nail salons refer to it by "dipping". Anyways this is basically a way of doing your nails. It is layers of power and what looks like clear nail polish. It stays on longer for me than shellac and looks and feels great. I recently came to Venetian to get my nails dipped. They sat me right away and were very nice and hospitable. I really enjoyed the lady doing my nails. She was very polite and really great at what she does. I would drive out of my way again to go here. read more

I will first say that I have been here before and received great service. However, when I visited this past Saturday march the 19th at around 3pm I had a very unpleasant experience. I debated writing this review but it has bothered me since. My husband got me a gift certificate for a pedicure and manicure for our anniversary and what was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned out to be one that completely hurt my feelings and left me disappointed not only ESPECIALLY with the customer service but with how my nails turned out. The man who did my services was impatient with me while I decided on colors. He rushed through my pedicure (the girls across from me started before and finished AFTER ME, and I had heard them order the exact same service) he got nail polish on my pants and did not apologize. The paint job was sloppy and he did the calus treatment which costs extra & rushed through that and here I am 4 days later with feet that do not look treated and recently pedicured. My nails were an entirely different story. He was careless and rushing through that as well. I had to tell him multiple times to fix edges and make things even (by the time it is all said and done my nails are so short it looks like I just painted and shaped them at home.. They still are not even). When I asked him to fix things he sighed and acted annoyed. Overall, I am just very sad and disappointed. This salon came very highly recommended. It is close to where I now live (we have recently moved here) I really WANT to like this salon. I tried to be understanding and just thought maybe this guy was having a bad day. But after spending close to $80 on an experience that was supposed to be special and a treat to myself.. And after nearly almost crying because he hurt my feelings (literally he was that rude) I feel like I needed to share this. Customer service goes a long way. I've worked customer service for years. I am one of those good customers who tips even if service is bad. I am polite. I am patient. I am understanding. But this was unacceptable. read more

I went to get a gel fill which I normally get at home for $25 dollars and I walked out paying $45..ONLY FOR A FILL!! My friend that I went with got a full gel set and also paid $45! I got a pedicure which was fantastic, the paint job was a little tiny bit off but I think that was just the polish I chose. Everything else in the milk and honey pedicure was awwwweseome. I also had two broken dipping powder nails that I'd gotten done in Abilene last week that Michael fixed for free and he managed to match the color perfectly. I got the organic citrus mani/pedi combo. Solid 4.5 for the pedicure. Callus remover, massage, paraffin wax, and mask; all around relaxing experience. 2 stars for the manicure. It was a half baked rubbing of some lotion on and a paraffin dip. Overall clean and appeared everything was sanitized. Not worth the $75 price tag. read more

I had such a Horrible experience don't go here!!!! I went in the get acrylic nails put on and absolutely hated them they were rough and bumpy not even at all! and on top of that she didn't know how to do coffin shape and made the nails look 10 times worse. So about a day later I walk back in to get them fixed and I'm told I would have to pay 25.00 to get them fixed!!??? When she's the one who screwed up my nails in the first place! Which I payed 55.00 for. I'm so irritated by this time so I'm like fine I will pay the stinking 25.00. So before she starts doing my nails she takes a picture like I'm ruining her masterpiece! So she starts taking off my nails and she's yanking around my hands all rude, cause she's mad she has to re do them. Anyways she's putting the new acrylic on or I should say globbing it on! And I ask her if she can put on the acrylic thin? And she looks at me and says NO! And I ask her why? And she just says nothing and continues. So I let her continue. The acrylic was finally done after about and hour! And they were so dang thick! And I ask her is there any way they an be thinner. She again says NO! So I'm finally like well I don't like them like this they're way too thick so she grabs my hand and starts drilling all fast! So she managed to thin them out slightly! Then She tries the color I had picked out and it's like a see through color when on the display it looked solid. Same thing happens with the next one so I finally find one that I like that is not see through and she tells me "This is the last one!" "No more" So then she does my shellac very quickly and on top of that she refused to bring the shellac all the way down to my cuticles so walking out of the salon they looked like I've had them for a week or two! Which is unacceptable in my book! So I'm out 80 bucks and still don't like them. I really like this place. The people are super nice and do an awesome job. They even offer children's services which was nice. I always leave very satisfied because the techs take their time to do good work. I will say that one of the techs did a bad job on my French manicure but it was fixed by another tech. My -1 star issue was that I did have a tech continue to txt on her phone while doing my nails. My nails still came out great but that was not acceptable for me. read more
