walked in (as it says walk ins welcome) and it was 9:10. they open at 9. they had 2 customers at the time. I asked them if they could paint my toe nails - they said no no too busy for that? they literally had just opened and it was not busy at all . I was a paying customer and I tip good. not a good way to gain a customer with that kind of service and response. read more

I went with my 2 daughters, one is 15 and the other is 11.They wanted to come along and they LOVED it! The employees are SO nice. My daughters accidentally bumped their nails and accidentally messed them up and they gladly fixed it! Very relaxing and an amazing experience for my kids. read more

Quality is terrible- got this dip set done less than a week ago and went back once due to a large chip- I am now back home after traveling and have 4 chipped nails and one completely fallen off. The pricing was good in my opinion.. $35 for a gel mani. While I went in I was not expecting much due to the prior reviews but my boyfriends family and I were met with people who seemed to rush to get to the next person. If they would've slowed down just a little I could give a higher rating because it was a decently good experience but I did have to clean my nails up a little afterwards because of the lack of care when it came up to the polish touching my skin. They weren't even that busy but they rushed me/ took forever to get to my boyfriends family's pedicures. Overall it was okay. I would recommend if you aren't looking for the top of the line nail salon. read more

Had called ahead a day before appointment and was 10 minutes early quietly waiting my turn. Only 3 doing work on a Sat. One was finishing up with two pedicure and another was just finishing up pedicure, then man had two walk ins waiting for him. Last lady was finishing up manicure. So a few minutes after my appointment time I was put in cold water to wait until my turn. 30 minutes after my appointment was told it would be 15 minutes plus before me. After waiting the additional time the custmer decided she wants a manicure that wasn't down on the books and lady started that. They don't respect appointment so why make them. I just took my feet out of bowl wipe me off and left. Don't waste your time in this salon. They aren't very professional. Very disappointing. Never again. read more

I went to Fancy Nails to get my nails done for my wedding in Nags Head and wow, did they do a great job. I don't get my nails done often, so Gracie helped me make the right decision with not only choosing gel, but also choosing the perfectly nude color for me. I was just ecstatic at how they turned out. She also helped me choose the right color/bottle to cover up my bruised toe nail - which was pretty important to me for my wedding on the beach! to start off, we made our appointment for 3:00, yet we didn't even get our nails started until 4:00. at first, there was 1 person going back and and forth between the 3 of us. they weren't even busy. then the one who was filing my nails left the table and went to work on my friends. so i ended up sitting there for a very long time. i was getting gel done and asked for a coffin shape and it was done very poorly. the lady who was doing the child's nails was not being very nice to her. the man who came and did mine did them very fast. the color i picked out was a bright pink, but the color i got was a very light pink that i can see my nail through. the paint job was horrible and the tip of my nail was not painted like it should have been. i get my nails done a lot at home and i do them myself as well so i knew they were done very poorly here. i had to wait about 5 mins to even pay. overall my experience was very bad. i would not go here again. terrible time and a waste of money read more

Honestly, the environment here is great and the staff is really friendly and talented. However, the tech doing my pedicure did not know what she was doing. She cut my toenails way too short and then filed them even shorter to the point it was hurting. She also cut 2 of my toes and they were bleeding and hurting and she just wiped the blood away and poured alcohol on it and kept going. She even went over one of the cuts AGAIN with the cuticle cutters. Near the end of my pedicure, they sent someone else to take over and the staff apologized and finished my toes. The guy doing my nails did a great job, and from what I could tell all of the other techs did a great job. We had a group of 4 and everyone was given a 10/10 pedicure besides me. They handled it well by sending someone else over but then the original girl proceeded to do 2 other customers pedicures when she really isn't well practiced. Be cautious of the youngest tech female tech doing pedicures! read more
