I am not one to complain much, I am a pretty laid back chick. However, I got the worse service of my life on yesterday from Loan. first, when i got there, I noticed her short attitude, however, I let that go. She was became increasingly rude and was flinging and jerking around my hand. When it came time for the polish, I specifically , requested OPI Bubble Bath, she takes it upon her self to whip a different color saying "new polish, I'm using this", I said no , I do not like this color, this does not look good, Please take it off". She said NO! you need to keep this. After I insisted she did take it off. Due to her being so rude and nasty, I walked out without getting any color on my nails. $55.00 wasted. I will not return. Fancy Nails was my first nail experience since the start of the pandemic. This establishment was extremely thorough with taking precautions to protect the health of their clients. Upon arrival, the staff took my temperature before I could get my nails done. All patrons also have to wear masks to enter the premises. There are clear plexiglass to separate the nail tech and yourself while you get a manicure. In regards to the actual nail experience, this was also really good! I got an eyebrow wax, which was probably the most relaxing wax I've ever received. I even got a free eyebrow massage! Not impressed by the pedicure I got here. They didn't remove the rough sports from my feet or trim My toenails. They put so many coats of polish on that I messed up one nail over 30 minutes after they were done. read more

I actually went back to give them a 2nd try. Perhaps a different nail tech. First visit just a walk in pedi. No wait. Perfect. No not so, unfriendly tech just went through motions. Rough on toes. Well, perhaps another tech. It was close to the house try again. Even worse grabbing and shook my finger because I wasn't at an position she liked. Had to complain about that. This place is terrible. They don't know what they're doing. We had an appointment at 3:30 for gel pedicure and acrylic nails for 5 girls and they did a terrible job. They have 1 person that knows how to do nails if that's what you want to call a "painted nail" and the rest can't even paint. Then they charge you extra for everything. They are rude, expensive and should definitely be going out of business shortly due to the incompetence of these idiots "people" read more

Went in for an acrylic full set. They turned out nice but they paid absolutely no attention to my cuticles before applying the nails so makes for a bit of a sloppy look. And for the price!? Would not pay it again. And they charge a 5% fee on credit card. A bit outrageous for the quality of work. read more

By far one of the best nail salons that I have been too and very affordable. We had 3 adults and 1 3 year old child. There were extremely accommodating and very sweet to our little girl. They did an amazing job. 2 of us had a mani pedi, 1 was a fill and then a child mani and pedi and we were out in 2 hours. Tourist or local. Great spot! read more

I come to Surfside every Summer. This year, it was special because my boyfriend proposed right before we left home. Our friends planned a few get together a for us upon arrival to our home state, so I wanted to make sure I had a nice manicure to show off my new bling! I went to a nail salon in the mall and the polish job was HORRENDOUS! The gentleman filed my nails with rough edges and there was paint all over my cuticles and skin. I was so mortified, I left with my nails still wet and drove to the first place I saw, Fancy Nails. Holly, the owner, saved my nails and the end of my vacation. She recommended a great polish color and was a pleasure to sit and talk with. The customer she had before me was an elderly woman with a cane. Before taking me, Holly even walked the woman out to her car. Great customer service is important to me! I'll be visiting Fancy Nails again on my trips for years to come! read more

While on vacation I decided to get a mani/pedi. I did a bit of googling/yelping and decided on this nail salon is it was listed as a finalist on the "Best of the Beach" for 2012 and it was close by. What a disappointment. The polish application was just awful. I had polish on my skin & cuticles. She would occasionally clean up using her nail, but either she didn't care or couldn't see how bad the application really was. read more

Great place. Had q lot of fun here and great people who took care of us. They offer hot stones, awesome rub, and so many colors.

My sisters and I went while on vacation to get pedicures. It was a great experience. They did a wonderful job scrubbing our feet and massaging on legs. I felt so relaxed when they were done that I needed a nap. We all got a fancy toe that they did by hand and they looked awesome!! read more

i wish i could give this place zero stars!!! i came in asking for a full set and gel paint on my toes. i gave them a picture for reference, and they said they could do it. i had faith in them because they have done crazy designs on me before and did amazing! anyways, they get to doing the design and they mess up the ombré and ask me if they can keep it like that and just cover it up!!! NO!!! it was absolutely hideous and there was no covering it up. so then they switched to powder and the color was completely off they had to change my whole polish color! absolutely nothing i wanted! they then left gunk all around my nails, told me to wash my hands and it did absolutely nothing! they then tried to charge me full price!!! $70 my nails. not worth it. and they would only go down to $60. my nails were bumpy, uneven in thickness i was so upset when i left. i call the owner and told her i would be back the next day. i come back and they are rude the whole time!!! i tell them how i want it and they refuse!!! lazy because they don't want to do the work. before i left they told me... "we don't do designs anymore so if you want them go somewhere else" ... but the lady that came in after me asked for these designs and they said yes!!! liars!! trust me i will NEVER be back!!! read more

Very nice, I was in desperate need of a pedi. We left for the beach in rush and this was better than my nail salon at home.

I have been coming to this salon for about two years now, and they continue to impress me. They always do a fantastic job on manicures and pedicures, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Let me start by saying I only have 2 stars just because they over charge. I called ahead and asked how much for fill in, they said $17, ok that sounds great. I figured that gel polish, which we always get, only about $5.00 more, so we made appointments and had no problem with once we arrived on time, the lady that did our nails really did a great job, we paid and went out to car, we realized that we was charged $60 for 2 fill in acrylic with gel polish. ??? I then went back in to ask why we was charged so much. They charge $13.00 for gel polish. For those who are curious about why we are angry about this, Perfect Match gel polish is only about $10.00 a bottle, that's not the wholesale price, the more you buy the cheaper it is. We have NEVER paid more than $6.00 for gel polish anywhere else. We understand they have to file the polish off, it takes longer but at same time it takes shorter dry time. For $12.00, we should have been given the polish to bring home. But like I said, our nails look good, but for that price we will not be returning. Disappointing. Although the salon is bright clean and friendly, the mani was poor. She didn't work on filing the nails into shape or removing all the dead cuticles like I would have liked. There was no undercoat or top coat added to the 3 coats of nail polish. After 15 minutes I thought I'd be done. They felt fine but once I started touching stuff the polish just smeared around the nail surface. All I wanted was a finished look so I could attend a funeral the next day. I had to remove it all at the end of the same day. I don't think I'll be returning. read more
