It has been hard to find a place that I trust with my eyebrows that doesn't break the bank, so I am glad I discovered Perfect Beauty Bar. I recently got my eyebrows laminated so she was able to work around that & still give me what I asked for. It was also my first time getting my upper lip threaded and it was totally worth it! I am in owe they expect a second chance after cutting my through eyebrows. Based on the owners response, I had very beautiful thick middle eastern eyebrows, you cannot blame it on my shape. I'm happy to now add before and after photos of what this place did to me and I'll attach it to Yelp for future reference. They also refused to refund me for this.

Maybe 10 or so minutes later she asked again and told me she would be able to do it really quickly and it would be easy for her to do. I should have asked, but I assumed it would be part of the original service I booked due to the way she was offering it. It took less than a minute - 2 quick strips. At the end of the appointment, she told the receptionist to add on a charge for inner thighs which ended up being $26 in addition to the original service I booked. If I had known that I would need to pay $26 for less than a minute of waxing, I would have declined, so I would have appreciated her being clear about the extra cost.

Personable, funny, and he made a point to ask and remember every single customer's name. That kind of warmth is rare and sets a really welcoming tone. Now for the rest of it. I came in for the deluxe pedi, listed at $43 on the menu I was handed. It was the most painful pedicure I have ever had. The technician used an extremely rough file on my feet and cut me while clipping my nails, at which point I asked her to stop using clippers altogether. Not a relaxing experience by any stretch. As for the hard gel mani, she was not distracted or splitting her attention, she simply took two full hours on my nails. I went slightly short in length and chose a plain solid color. Nothing complicated. She had the same aggressive approach with the nail file throughout, and two weeks later I am still dealing with hangnails and rough skin. That is ultimately what pushed me to finally write this. Then came checkout, handled by the host himself. As warm as he is, the math did not work out. I was told my mani was $55 and my pedi was $48, coming to $103 cash/venmo or $104 with card. No explanation was given for the difference. Nice people do not always equal a good experience. I will not be returning.
