How - I was introduced to the place by Yelp during one of their Events - we played some games & got an option to try regular Mani or Pedi services. Service - Though I stay quite far, I thought to try the facial at Shiloh. I called the number given on Google, last Monday (04/20/26). The lady taking the call was rather rude and aggressive. After our conversation and on something she was to let me know, she said I "will get back to you when I can"!. I till date have not received a call back from either her or anyone else at Shiloh. This person was not aware about the type of facials but she was still trying to give half baked information, half heartedly and that too in a tone (trust me) no one would want to hear or continue speaking with if calling a salon or spa. Mostly people visit these places to relax their mind; not to add stress to themselves. This conversation proved anything but helpful or calming; quite the opposite of what one expects. Post such an experience, the next day I went ahead and booked the facial with another spa. Fast forward, I saw on Yelp the Shiloh owner having provided a phone number and email to contact directly. Instead of choosing to call up directly, I thought to leave her a short text message letting her know that I saw the number on Yelp and wanted to discuss about a recent experience. No response from the owner too. Wondering - I really would like to understand why the front desk customer service quality, responsiveness of businesses and the overall attitude is getting so dismal by the day. Why can't someone sitting at the front desk be courteous/polite even if she is not knowledgeable or doesn't care to understand the services being offered by her place of work (it's understandable if she din know about the Yelp event as it was a long time ago but that too can be responded to nicely, why react? [It was told to her to let her know how I got to know about their spa - was meant as a help; since everyone these days like to ask how anyone got to know about their business]). I hadn't never been to this nail salon but had seen it in the parking lot before and decided to give it a try. I called and asked if they had availability in the next 20-30 mins and got an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised! I got the gold pedicure which came with all the standard parts of a pedi but added a callous remover mask and removal, hot paraffin wax mask and then a hot stone massage while the wax hardened before removal. Erik was my nail tech and he gave a really great massage AND was gentle with my nails and feet. Nothing hurt and nothing tickled unbearably. The salon is super cute and whimsy and has flowers and beautiful decor everywhere. The vibe was really good overall! I could hear another woman at the nail bar raving about how much she loved her nails. I was so relaxed and as a mom of a toddler, I need more of this in my life and will be back. Thank you Erik!

The first time I came here was out of convenience because it's close to where'd I just moved. They did a god job and I left happy! Second time, I wanted the color bubble bath with the most simple flowers on 2 fingers. I showed pictures. I also felt obligated to come back and give them another chance. So I did!! My mistake honestly. I am in a wedding this upcoming week (I let them know that) and booked a gel pedi and hard gel fill. Toes look great! The nails look good too, but the experience was not. The top coat on the chrome was beading and separating for some reason. The guy clearly noticed it and didn't care cause he was running behind and rushing. When I said something he said to me "yeah because you hit it on the light" uhhhh no I did not? And if I did, I would have let you know right away. It was obvious that it wasn't from me? He asked if I could come back to fix it. I said no I can't? It took 2.5 hours for my toes and nails and I told them I have an important event this week. I have babies at home and a busy schedule. Why'd he make me feel like it was my fault? And then said "oh my god" when I asked him to fix it right then. Of course everyone in the entire Solon is looking and listening. How awkward.
