Such a terrible experience. I ordered Washington Redskins division shirts on Tuesday, 12/29. They said it was a specialty item and should ship before 1/7. On 1/5, I contacted customer service to find out the status. They were absolutely worthless. The guy I spoke with told me everything I had read on the website. (It "should" ship this week, it was a specialty item so it was not made yet, and you should have it soon). I explained to him that I already got those answers online and I needed additional information. He responded with "well that's all that I have on my screen." I'm not sure why he couldn't think outside the box and ask for a manager, so I did and of course no one is available. When I told him I would wait, he hung up on him. I guess that's how this company tells their employee to deal with their customers when they don't like speaking with them. THEN, yesterday I finally get an email saying the shirts have been shipped. It took another 24 hours (just now) to get the arrival date to pop up. It says arriving by end of day on Monday. The game is on Sunday. If i don't get these by Saturday (since no mail delivery on Sunday), I am returning them for a full refund. I have already reported the false advertising as well. The website should have said "will not get in time for the game unless you do 2 day delivery." I'm sorry, ordering 2 weeks in advance, I thought I would. And they already charged me. Stay away... Sorry to say, but this was a terrible experience. I ordered four items online through their EBay store and contacted them multiple times via email and order feedback to make sure the delivery was within the week. I was set to take my kids to their first college football experience, having ordered new gear for all of us to wear. I finally spoke with someone by phone in customer service, who assured me a next-day shipping was in order. It was, but for only one of the items. They split the order up for some reason and completely botched the shipping, which five days after the original order is still in limbo in some processing center thousands of miles away and apparently won't get here for almost another two weeks. So utterly disappointing. Kids will be devastated that they won't have their new gear for their first game experience. But what's most disappointing is a total lack of accountability, assistance or help from Fansedge. I spoke to a customer service rep and then a manager, who acknowledged the screw-up but said they'd only refund the minor shipping fee. There was no real empathy, no interest in helping or trying to work with the customer to make good or try to really proactively turn a bad situation around. It's so easy to do, but sadly Fansedge has zero interest in actually working with the customer and ensuring they're satisfied. I thought I was getting a good deal with the pricing here, but the reality is: buyer beware. There's a clear reason these guys might be a little cheaper. I ordered a Lionel 1:64 car from them. When I've bought them on Ebay, sellers put the cars in a cardboard box to ship it to protect it. This place just throws it in a padded envelope. As a result, expect your item to be damaged in shipping. In this case, the factory display box the car was put in had some minor damage from being crushed in shipping. What a rip off!!!!!!! I ordered a $19.00 National Championship t shirt and paid for overnight shipping. That was 5 days ago and the shirt just arrived today. So, I just paid 50 bucks for a $19 shirt. Thanks for nothing FansEdge! I called their customer service line and the of course, the abrasive agent on the phone basically said I should be glad to have gotten it as soon as I did. What an ass! If I return the shirt I have to pay for the shipping label and I don't get a refund for my overnight charge from FedEx which means I'd only be refunded $15.00! My advice? Shop somewhere else. Personally, I have never had an issue with them, however, I recently had my mother purchase a Christmas present for my son through their site. Our order had two items. One item shipped and was received with packing slip and all. The second item (or what we thought was the second item) arrived three days later in its own box. In the end it wasn't the item she ordered for my son. So my poor mother was missing her "big" gift for her youngest grandson. After the holiday, we called the customer service center at 855-438-0678. Turns out this is a call center in Dallas, Texas. They don't even know who they would report to at the corporate office in Jacksonville, Florida. All they could offer us was a refund. The issue is that when we purchased the item it was in stock, we received the wrong item and now the item we wanted is out of stock. Low and behold - still no gift for her grandson. When you contact the corporate number 904-421-8144 you get a cisco messaging system and are told to enter your selection from a touch pad phone. If you press 0 for the operator, they tell you the operator isn't available. On their website is the following statement "Our Fan Advocates are committed to your satisfaction and view each time you contact us as a chance to build a relationship. We're shoppers too and dedicated to delivering our customers the kind of shopping experience we would want to have. If your expectations are not exceeded and if you don't look forward to coming back, then we haven't done our job!" It is clear that they are NOT DOING THEIR JOB! Weeks later I get an email saying they don't take returns for personalized orders (it wasn't) or items that were worn (it wasn't) so they "donated it to charity." No refund. MY RESPONCE FROM FANSEDGE.COM WAS ( it would take 5-7 business days for the request to even get to the correct department. That's 5 days past the original delivery date. Never Ever Shop Fans Edge, Fanatics or the College Football Store - they are all the same. I ordered on Oct. 5 - they say RELAX - we've got your order and their website says they ship within 3 business days - on the 4th day I received an email that my order was delayed and I could cancel - I called because of the reviews I then read and the tone of their email. They " create a ticket" which is supposed to get a response as to the status - you have to wait 2 business days after the ticket is generated for a response and then you can call them the next business day - so every 3 business days you can call them! I called 6 times - talked to 2 managers - today - Oct. 19 I cancelled the order. No information as to when I would receive my order. This was a special gift for a one- in- a-lifetime birthday gift for my son. I had to drive to the college book store and pick up a generic jersey - They - Fans Edge and their other business names sure ruined a special birthday!
