As an American who knows little to no German, and having ended up having to stay in Offenbach as part of a last minute crisis situation in my vacation plans, it's fair to say that if you know little German yourself, there will definitely be a language barrier at this particular place. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and spoke English (which we were appreciative of). They didn't have an English menu, but most of the items on the menu were understandable, and our waitress helped with the rest. I ordered the Hahnchengeschnetzeltes, because I mistakenly misread it as a type of schnitzel. It's not, but it was still good. It was a chicken dish, with a mushroom sauce that tasted similar to curry. My boyfriend and friends ordered a smoked pulled pork sandwich and burgers, which they seemed to enjoy. NOTE: Something I, as an American, wasn't use to.. no glasses of water! You have to purchase bottles of water, and be sure to ask for "water, no gas" or "still water" if you don't want sparkling water. Also, you might as well order a beer, because the prices are almost the same.

Food is a little more expensive, but it's a good location to just have a drink in Offenbach. Maybe one of the best bar's in OF inner city. Bonus for me: non-smoking.
