Pizzeria Da Salva - Pizza Prosciutto with fresh mushrooms

We ordered delivery from the last weekend via Lieferando…read more Our order consisted of a children's size Margarita pizza, a custom pizza with fresh spinach, garlic, bell pepper and onions, a Pizza Prosciutto with added fresh mushrooms and an Insalata Mista with ham. The pizzas were great. Very yummy dough and decent topics. All of us really liked our choices. The Insalata was not quite up to par unfortunately since they had mixed ham and tuna into the salad. I give them the benefit of the doubt though and just see this as a one-time mistake. I have no complaints about the service. It took them exactly 2 Mario Cart 8 tournaments to deliver the food ;) - which is less than the projected 44 minutes - and the driver was very friendly. We will definitely order from them again.

Mmmmm. Nothing better than a good pizzeria right next door to you. Although my thighs and…read morewaistline may disagree... I eat here sparingly in an effort to not overdue it, but sometimes you just have that craving for some dang good pizza. Pizzeria Da Salva is that place. I can walk there within three minutes and they are so efficient that the pizza is done shortly after. I almost always get the same pizza: pepperoni and pineapple. I always take it home and I dump loads of pepper flakes on it. IT. IS. GOOOOOOOD. Not to mention only 6,50 Euros for the whole thing. I can't wait to go here sometime soon and try out their vast beer garden and sit outside. This may be my go-to place locally this summer!

Very nice, very elegant, with a definite nod to old world Italia. The architecture brings a smile…read moreto my face: a lot of work went into the details here. I mean, seriously, take a look! The view of the street might not seem so special, but I do like the floor-to-ceiling windows. I wish I could give a more in-depth review, but we only stopped here for drinks and dessert. We ordered the Caffe Gustoso, which came with chocolate truffles, a rich cup of coffee, and what was called a "mini-tiramisu". A proper tiramisu has lady finger cookies, which this didn't have: it's really more of a pudding. But, it's quite nice all the same. The flavors are certainly there. The truffles are little bombs of fudge: you will need a whole cup of coffee to wash each one down, since they're so rich. But, I do like the fact that it's not too sweet. The service was very friendly and attentive, which is always a good thing. I do want to return for a proper meal.

We hit this place up for a quick meal before walking around the town. It was conveniently located…read moreacross from our hotel, so it was handy since it was raining. We were greeted immediately and escorted to a table by large windows. A waiter quickly took our drink order. FYI, the only iced tea they offer is bottled. Booo! I chose a Coke Zero instead and was pleasantly surprised when the waiter brought out a glass of ice and a bottle of Coke! The best tasting Coke is from a glass bottle- trust me if you have never tried it! They do not offer a bread basket as a free appetizer like most Italian restaurants. They did bring a little plate of green olives, which were really good, to my surprise. There were only a few dish options that were vegetarian, so I opted for the 4 Formaggi, basically Alfredo. It was ok, but I would not order it again. It was unbelievably rich so I could not eat much of it. Prices are pretty standard for Europe, with dishes costing between 15 to 20 EUROS. I would not pay that much for it here in America. So, if you are in a pinch, this restaurant is acceptable. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Pretty forgettable.
