May time I have brought in a photo or two of a hairstyle(s) I like, and she is honest to tell the me if it would look good on me or not. There was even a time after my mom died that I came in, sat down, and said and there are times when I come in and say "do whatever...I don't care", and even in that dark time, she has NEVER disappointed. We have used this business several times for haircuts due to the location, being convenient, but are going to have to find somewhere else to go due to the staff being rude and unhelpful. You used to be able to make an appointment online, now the website is changed to where it's impossible to reserve anything in advance. The staff dismisses this as a "glitch" even though it has been like this, the past several times I've tried to book an appointment. It says they take walk-ins, we have been the first people in line when they open and they still won't accommodate us or over an hour and a half. They were also not very friendly or gentle when doing kids haircuts on my 4 year old. read more

I took my 10y/o for a hair cut. She wanted something more grown up looking. I didn't want to spend a fortune since I knew it would eventually end up in a pony tail...BIG MISTAKE! You definitely get what you pay for. The stylist asked me what we wanted and I showed her the 1st picture as reference. She then asked me about length, recommended no layers in case she wanted to put it in an braid. I agreed that we didn't want crazy layers, she proceeded to cut it...too short. Left it as a blunt cut and said "ok what do you think?" UHHHHHHH......I think I could have done that at home! Had her texture it a bit on the ends to which she responded with "well that will add layers" UM NO, LAYERS ADD LAYERS! My daughter was so upset, it's nothing like what she wanted and I feel horrible. Guess next time we'll make sure we go to a proper salon :( read more

I took my 5 year old son here for a haircut today... he was absolutely perfect. Suddenly he yelped out in pain and grabbed his neck. The woman cutting his hair said, "Oh, I'm sorry... do the clippers tickle your neck?". Yeah... they tickle so much he has cuts on his neck from the "tickling". I understand mistakes happen but I would've thought she would at least have apologized for nicking him instead of trivializing it. read more

I had a appointment for 5:00 pm. I walked into let Kristi know I was in the area and was going to have a late lunch, but would be available if she wanted to do earlier. She showed me to her "two lane area"(her words for her space. And the next 30 minutes when by so fast with getting to know her and without showing her a picture she met my expectations with my cut. I left about 8" lighter, sassier, and had felt I met a friend. I have a follow up appt. for color and I'll let you know how that goes. As of now, I left there better than when I went in. My boyfriend went in for a hair cut. The woman who cut his hair ( I wouldn't consider her a hair dresser) rushed through his hair cut. He literally was inside the store for a total of 7 min. We are extremely disappointed by the quality of the hair cut. His hair is uneven lengths in certain places. I really hope this woman isn't allowed to continue rushing people through. He has been a customer for years and will not be returning due to this experience. read more

If you like being greeted with a scowl or a frown, and made to feel unwelcome, then this is the place for you. I've given them many chances to make me feel like I'm a valued customer, but they have failed time after time. I recently gave them yet another chance. They are close to my home and the people in there do know how to cut hair, (it's for these two reasons I have given them one star). However, upon arriving I was once again greeted with a frown and a look of disdain. I told the stylist (she's the manager of this shop) that I had an appointment for my son and we were about ten minutes early. There were no other customers waiting. She had just finished up with another customer and she said "I'll be with you in a few minutes". She swept up some hair and then disappeared into the back. Twenty minutes passed and she still had not come back. The other stylist finished with her client and then got to my son. At this point we had been waiting for close to thirty minutes for my son to get into a stylists chair. The shop was not busy, I never received an explanation or an apology for the long wait. As we walked out I looked back through the glass door and saw the first stylist return to the front of the shop. I do not recommend this shop and I will certainly not be returning. read more

I have had my hair cut here regularly for about a year now and can't say enough good things about them. They are some of the most courteous employees and work under some of the most demanding circumstances at times. But you need to call in advance and schedule an appointment. They are usually under staffed . Management needs to fix that for them. Kristie is the best. Keep up the good work. read more

Bait and switch!! My 16 year old daughter had a service at this location, and was told one price. Once they finished they more than doubled it and demanded she pay. $212 for a coloring! They take advantage of people at this location, I'd stay away from them. Bait you in with a cheaper price and then hammer you at the cash register. read more

Really unfriendly and overpriced for the service. Since we live nearby, I brought my 11 month old son in for his second haircut (after taking him to Scouts which was awesome). The woman who cut his hair was strangely quiet and awkward. He squirmed and cried the whole time unlike Scouts where he was calm for the entire cut. Afterward, the woman who was running the register told me i needed to take him to the same person every time since i probably teach him "not to talk to strangers". I replied, "i haven't even taught him how to talk." It was a strange experience. Even though we were being friendly the whole time, we were met with an attitude like we were inconveniencing them (though we were the only customers there). Definitely not going back. I'll gladly spend the extra $5 and drive to downtown Franklin on Scouts. read more

This place does not honor appointments nor respect their client's time. I do not give my hard-earned money to businesses that do not respect me. Even when called 30 minutes prior to appointment, was not told stylist was running tremendously behind schedule and given an opportunity to reschedule. Fought traffic and wasted time to get there where I was told I could sit and wait while she finished two other clients. My appointment had been on the books for 5 weeks! Apparently, it is their standard practice to overbook. The stylists appear to be tired and overworked. I do not think this place is well-managed either by a staff manager nor the owners. read more
