I went into the salon as a new client, nervous and hoping for the best. I received just that! All of the girls really make the atmosphere fun but inviting and warm. My stylist, Chassidy did a fantastic job with asking me questions about what I wanted when I have a really hard time explaining myself. My hair is perfect! I've never had someone who works in a customer service position be so rude to me for literally no reason. I asked a question about how the waiting list worked and the woman said "do you want me to add you to the list or not?" I decide to wait. There's no where to sit because the waiting area is full and the chick just walks away. So I ask if I'm able to sit in one of the many empty salon chairs and she just looks at me then ignores me until I repeat the question when she then just gestures somewhere behind her. I'm so confused what her problem is, but don't get a job working with people if you hate them and yourself THAT much! I will never be returning to this location and advise anyone else to avoid it as well. read more

Wendy gave me the bet haircut ever. Would have given salon 5 stars, but for the fact that they couldn't process credit cards and I had to wait around 1/2 hour after she was finished in order to pay with my credit card. Another customer was in the same boat. Salon said I could go to ATM at nearby store (but I would have been charged a fee). They could have offered another alternative. read more

I went for highlights, the manager had previously cut my hair before, so I asked for her. She proceeded to tell me that because I had streaks, I needed an all over color and then to come back later for lighter blond highlights. Instead of just highlighting my hair, she put in color.To make a long story short, she messed up and washed my first process out too soon. My hair was carrot top orange. She then tried 5 different processes, including bleaching my entire head. Nothing took the orange tint out. I was there 6 hours. I will never go back! Unless you are getting your head shaved, I would not go here. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I went in to get about 7in cut off my hair. It was a lot and I was kind of nervous but I got myself excited to finally do it. That excitement ended as soon as I got in the chair. I showed my stylist (didn't get her name) pictures of what I wanted and she goes "I would never cut off my long hair like that." Yeah well this is my head not yours. A concept she didn't seem to understand throughout the entire haircut. She then goes "how about a pixie cut? Why don't I just give you a pixie cut?" And I say that's not really what I want and again show her the pictures. She tells me that the sides of the cut I want are like a pixie (which I guess they kind of were. I wanted it longer on top though. Basically my bangs left how they were). So I say do the sides like a pixie but leave the top long. Well guess what? I got a straight up pixie cut. She didn't listen to a word I said. At one point I even told her to stop cutting the top and she goes "I'm just straighting it out." And proceeded to cut another half an inch or more. Then she brought my bangs down in front of my face and without even asking or checking she just cut them straight across above my eyebrow. It looked awful. I think she could tell I didn't like it and trys to tell me that my hair is "too straight" for the cut I wanted even though in the picture we were supposed to be working off of, the girl had straight hair. She asked how I liked the length and I told her the sides were the same length as the top and she just says "No they aren't." THEY ARE. Then she shaved my neck up past my natural hair line and spiked my hair up like a little boy. I hate it. I cried as soon as I got in my car and didn't stop till after I got home. It's the worst haircut I've ever had. Just a butchered pixie cut. It's awful. Never go to this place unless you like being compleatly ignored in your requests. I like to start by saying there are some very talented stylists at this Fantastic Sams but unfortunately, if you aren't careful ,you'll be very disappointed. My daughter saved up her money to go in for a brown to blonde ombré. For full disclosure I must say she did have a green hue to her hair from swimming and she had old faded color as well ,but isn't that why you go to a salon? The hair she left the salon with was not an ombré. It was the exact same color at the top as it was when she entered the salon and there were two blonde streaks (she has a swing bob) on the front of both sides. The back was a red orange. Think Ronald McDonald only more orange than red. I'm writing this review for a few reasons but mostly to let people know to NOT LEAVE A SALON until you get satisfaction. Ask for a mirror to see the back. Insist on a toner if you feel you need it. Sometimes managers aren't immune to making mistakes. We toned her hair with toner from Sally's to fix the orange and it's at least fixed enough to not wear a hat. This is so sad that a professional couldn't see that orange hair was not what was asked for and didn't try to fix it. So disappointing and loss of two customers. Regular customers. I started with a positive and I will end with a positive. I know there are a couple stylists here that are very talented and I once had a bad haircut experience here and the owner was wonderful about making it as right as he could and that's awesome. Remember, ask for a mirror and if it's not right do not leave until it's acceptable. read more

Don't go here unless you want to punish yourself. I went for a color and a haircut. I was told the color was going to be strawberry blonde, it is a auburn color. The haircut is another story I told her that I wanted what they call chopped layers so the ends would stick out not lay flat on my head I also told her that I wanted my hair length to be below my shoulders. She said she knew what I wanted. Well she lied she didn't know a thing. She didn't cut my hair the way she was suppose to. End of my hair touches the back of my neck and the ends don't lay like they were suppose to. My hair looks like a medium length bob and I hate it. I tried contacting the manager no response and corporate won't respond either. Please if you love your hair stay away from here. read more
