I just can't say enough about the experience that we had last Sunday. We arrived a little early so that we could see the crew bring out the balloons and the baskets and get everything ready for our flight. The crew was amazing. They worked like a well oiled machine, knew exactly what to do. We went into the hangar where Captain Lana briefed us, what to expect, how to stand when landing...could have been a boring 10 minutes, but Lana made it fun and interesting. My daughter and I flew with Captain Ken, who is Lana's husband. The reason I mention this is because their connection to each other is one of the reasons the flight experience was so wonderful. Our balloons (Lana in one, Ken piloting the other) touched all the way up, which was called kissing. Ken was able to point out different mountain ranges and other points of interest all along the flight. He lowered us to the tops of the trees then up 1000 feet within seconds, yet we couldn't feel a thing. It was like floating in space and the world was moving below you. It was a perfect day, from beginning to end. When we got back to the airport we were treated to mimosa's or soda, and snacks. At the end we were presented with our certificate, hugs, and an experience that I will be talking about for years! Amazing! From the very beginning of the day (7am) till the mimosa's at the end, this definitely goes to the list of my top 10 experiences. I have to admit I was a little nervous because of the unknown, but once Captain Lana prepped us (and she added so much fun and enthusiasm to the short but informative prep) I was very relaxed and ready to enjoy this beautiful morning in the skies. It was obvious that the pilots, Ken and Lana, were so experienced and very much in sync with each other when we took off....their balloons even kissed all the way up. The ride itself was so smooth, you couldn't even tell you were moving. I just can't say enough. I went on my very first hot air balloon ride! It was amazing, exhilarating, and so incredibly peaceful for me on many personal levels. Our pilot was Capt Ken, As the pilots and crew members set up the balloons, we all watched with anticipation (and nerves!). They set them out on the grass and then fire them up with hot air. It's an amazing process to watch it go from a heap of fabric on the ground to a gorgeous round balloon. And then, lift off! The heat from the burners was pretty intense! The views below were amazing! I kept thinking about how different the world looks from this perspective. I was very jittery about the landing, but it ended up being as smooth as silk. We touched ground with hardly even a bump. I will never forget my morning in the hot air balloon. It was surreal, and I hope you get a chance to go someday. read more

I surprised my son who was turning 14 with this Awesome Balloon ride. He had no idea where he was going at 5am. Once we pulled up to the airport and saw the Balloon he was So excited and Nervous. Once we took off he was So relaxed and LOVED this gift!! Ken was our pilot and he was very polite and took us on a nice 40 minute balloon ride. There was another company right next to theres and they only took there customers on a 12 minute ride. IM glad I picked Fantasy Ballon instead. We had a Fun, Safe and Beautiful ride. Today my sister and daughter treated me to a surprise 50th birthday balloon ride! What a wonderful time we had with Fantasy Balloon and Captains Ken and Lana. The ride was absolutely beautiful as we gently lifted off and soared over the trees admiring the gorgeous fall foliage! Lana explained all the safety precautions and advised us on how we will land. Since we were the first group to ride we landed in a parking lot and the next group loaded. We then got to ride in the chase van with some of the crew. Lana and Ken gave my family and I a flight to remember! When it came to booking our flight they were extremely prompt and answered all questions we had. From what time to be there, what to bring, what to expect, etc. On the day of your flight you are curious about what's happening - Lana and Ken ensure you about everything and answer any questions. Ken and Lana are pros and absolutely love flying. As an Army aviator and civilian pilot, I can say I was truly impressed by Ken's ability to basically fly his balloon Nap of the Earth (NOE). Amazing skills in what is not a traditionally super-maneuverable aircraft! They are true aviators and were very friendly and helpful not only the day of our flight, but the weeks leading up to it. As someone who is normally flying at 100+ kts, I was amazed to be able to just casually take in the landscape of my usual flying area in the most laid-back, peaceful way. I have never been in a hot air balloon, I was just walking my dogs and the balloon came over my house, about 100 feet, biggest thing I ever saw, like a little kid "I just knew I had to ride in that " so two years and a few drinks later, I did it and will do it again. Fantasy balloon flights is the best, the most fun and the safest. I am a afraid of anything that has to do with heights, latter's, planes on top of a hill. But captain ken smith finally convinced me to get in the basket and after I was done white knuckling the basket and opened my eyes we were off the ground i couldn't even feel it it was so smooth and beautiful.
