We were initially supposed to get married on 5/2 and had to change to 10/3; they were understanding and accommodating which we really appreciated. They were always accessible, we added some more arrangements last minute and it was no problem. We wanted some specific colors and leaves incorporated and they nailed it. My bouquet was absolutely stunning - received so many compliments on this from people all over. They also created a beautiful flower crown for me which I wore for the reception and was a huge hit! We leveraged their diamond arch which looked beautiful at our venue on the water. They decorated it with beautiful greens and some pops of color. It didn't even look real it was so beautiful. Even my mother and mother-in-law who had to watch via Zoom were impressed. I strongly recommend working with them for your event. Shae was the one florist that called me back almost instantly. She was so kind and fun to talk to. She got me even more excited for my wedding. She was definitely the most pleasant of vendors to work with and she was always quick to send me things I needed. And she really listened when I told her what my budget was and helped repurpose the flowers used between ceremony and reception perfectly. We had an intimate wedding at Monarch Beach Resort, and Fantasy Floral Designs did a fantastic job. When wedding planning, it's so important to partner with vendors you can trust. FF was responsive and agile, and Amanda was receptive. She went above and beyond to help everyone get pinned up. Pricing was reasonable, but most importantly Amanda cares. My bridal bouquet was fresh, and color was on par with what I expected. However, the shape was round and not oblong like I had wanted and communicated. I had even shared an elaborate vision board of the look I was hoping to achieve. My other suggestion is to label the bouts because they were different sizes, and my mind was all over the place before our ceremony to figure out which belonged to whom. After getting several quotes from recommended florist for my venue, I just had to ask FFD for a quote even though it looked much more than my budget could handle. I was generous giving her 2 stars. I have never been treated the way Amanda has treated me...I can't respond to a review that she responded to on Wedding Wire, but she blatantly LIED in her response. She states that I chose the wedding color flowers..yes WHITE which she didn't provide. I sent photos 3 weeks before the wedding of ALL white flowers...yes my theme was travel but regardless I asked for white flowers and did NOT receive them. More importantly she threw all of my mason jar lids away after I asked her to keep everything and also kept 3 of my jars... She claims that it was 115 degrees the day of my wedding which is why she was an hour late to show up with our bouquets which is absolute BS it was 95 TOPS at the hottest point in the day. She also claimed I was still getting my hair and make up done when they finally did arrive...another LIE. I was in my dress sitting WAITING on them to take photos. My hair and make up had been done for an hour. I have multiple people, including my photographer and videographer to back up my story...she only has her BS version to try to cover herself. It is appalling that a business woman would LIE and BLAME their customer for their faults instead of take accountability for their mistakes. When I asked her for my lids and jars returned that she threw away her response to me was a link to an article about compulsive hoarding. You can't make this stuff up. I am disgusted. It makes me sick to be quite honest. I have never been so mad or disappointed in a vendor. read more

I had high hopes after my initial meetings and interaction with Amanda that the flowers for my wedding would turn out great. She was recommended by a friend whose wedding flowers were absolutely stunning-and I would know because I was a bridesmaid. Unfortunately, that was not the case. At our final meeting, I requested that she bring a sampling of what she planned for the wedding, but she did not do that. But at that point, it would have been too late to pick another florist so I held out hope, since the meeting seemed to go well still. So, ultimately, the bouquets did not turn out right. She included elements in my flowers that I specifically did NOT want. Which was very confusing. She included these big flat green tropical leaves in the bouquets, when I requested soft gray leaves like lambs ear and wanted very little, if any greenery. So my colors were a warm blush and dark red, and I wanted peonies and astilbe, lambs ear..etc., and I wanted a decorative pink or red velvet ribbon tied around it. My bouquet randomly had a couple hot fuchsia/magenta pink flowers in it?! I was so confused and just stared at them...so she ripped them right out of the bouquet. For some reason it also had a mustard yellow ribbon wrapped around it that was just a binder to hold it together? Which was not visible at least. ....Now the soft pink roses she found were lovely, and that was a win. My husband's boutonniere was a lovely soft pink rose that matched the blush color for my wedding perfectly. The size of my bouquet matched my body shape perfectly-also a win. But the weird long branch she had hanging from the front (eucalyptus maybe? which I expressly asked NOT to have in by bouquet) was so awkward that the photographer literally ripped it off when we started the post-ceremony photos. Overall, at least I had some pink and red flowers, and it was the right size and (mostly) shape. And all flowers are beautiful in general, so no one would know that it wasn't right but me....but overall it was just a disappointment. Particularly because it was something that could not be fixed since the ceremony was happening just an hour or two later. Oh well. Of all the things that could have gone wrong at my wedding, this was definitely not the worse thing that could have happened. After all, she showed up. So at least I had flowers! read more

Talk about a wonderful place! We needed a corsage for my 15 year old son to give his date for winter formal at his high school. He's a freshman so it was a special dance and he wanted something very specific. I used Fantasy Floral to create a brooch bouquet for my June wedding--and ultimately I was pleased with the results. Any kind of bridal bouquet is going to be expensive, so I decided to order one that I could keep forever. I spent a few months collecting brooches and other items--Amanda can use earrings, tie bars, watches, etc. I received heirlooms and costume jewelry from family members and bought the other items from eBay, etsy and local thrift stores. When I had several dozen, I contacted Amanda to find out her timeline. She was a bit difficult to contact--we played quite a bit of phone tag, and she didn't always return my calls--but ultimately I got the details I needed. And she promised a quick turnaround, which was super important since my wedding was less than a month away at that point. She delivered in plenty of time, shipping the bouquet about ten days before the wedding. And the brooch bouquet itself was really well put together, with ribbon colors that complemented the brooches and the other colors of the wedding decor. As an event producer in the industry for 10 years, Fantasy Florals is one my favorite vendors to work with. I have used Amanda (the owner) for the majority of my corporate events, major fundraisers, weddings--nearly 9 years. Amanda takes a personal interest in the event--always asking the right questions, the demographics of the crowd, theme, colors and linens--she always gets it right and I have referred her for years and honestly can say that I have never had anyone disappointed by her tremendous talent. In the corporate event management side, pricing is always the bottom line and I have worked with so many vendors--her pricing is far the best since her talent is equal to many of the "over-hyped" floral vendors with fancy studios and high overhead. On the fundraiser side, she has donated so much in her time, flowers, talent that she will freely offer design advice when I get stuck on making a creative decision. Just two weeks ago, she designed 80 centerpieces plus 10 other arrangements for one of my bigger fundraisers and executed it as I had ordered-- on time, and stuck to my budget. For weddings, which I do less of, Amanda is one of my best resources to keep me on the "up and up" when it comes to the latest and greatest in the wedding industry. She has been featured in numerous magazines, won awards (Knot Magazine) and personally designed for David Tutera in a photo shoot this year. The weddings I have done or referred brides, I have not had any disappointments. Consistency is how I measure the value of a good vendor. Amanda is consistent with her staff (much of same staff for years now--a very good sign), consistent in quality and pricing, and most consistent in her ability to do whatever it takes to get it right and make the client happy. In the corporate event side, we have many last minute events, some with only 1 wk notice. I can always count on her to put something together and it will be fabulous! As for any negative reviews by brides, it is sad that one bad day/event can malign the great reputation of talented florist with a great heart. Events are a hard, grueling industry with the bar being set by clients as "perfection". As professionals, (and just being humans, not superheroes), we have our "learning opportunities" --events that we learn to do a few things differently the next time. Those opportunities are the only way we can stay in business as this is a very competitive industry and I know Amanda Heer would not be in business if she was not open to making it better for the next event. Just some advice to all brides, like the saying--give respect and you will get respect back. Basically treat your vendors like professionals, not members of your personal staff and say "please and thank you!" As a vendor myself, I pour my heart and soul into my work (as many good vendors do--including Amanda) and we will go the extra mile for you. (Appreciation goes a long way and sometimes we will throw in the extras!) Realize that you are counting on us to make your memories and by behaving badly, you are only jeopardizing the goodwill.
