We needed costumes for our Knights of the Kingdom theme Harvest Fest at our church...I had to come back for my son's costume and was treated with grace and courtesy both times...there is a great selection of "to buy" costumes but since we don't dress up much we went the rental route and the fabric is quality. The costumes beautiful and authentic looking...the owner runs the place and was completely helpful from beginning to end...she sized my husband and son for their costumes from me just FaceTiming them and them standing back from the camera and standing straight...she is great and knows her stuff! Great owner and great experience! There is a lot to offer with all of their huge costume selection. We had a last minute event to attend and this was one of the first options that popped up in my search. Didn't believe we'd have as good of a costume for the event. I chose lederhosen and my wife got a beer maiden dress. My wife won the best dressed for the female costume which I'll attest to hair dressing abilities along with all of the extras she put into the outfit. I have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, who did us a huge favor, following a mishap we had where she allowed us to rent the costumes for a little extra time due to a last minute cancellation. The sweet lady was very helpful and accommodating! I loved my cat costume and she has a lot of different costumes and accessories to choose from plus Halloween Makeup as well! Will definitely come here again! It can be difficult getting an outfit last minute because many Halloween stores are only seasonal and even Amazon takes longer than I need at times so it's nice to know their is a place I can go to get something same day for last minute cosplay and for my acting self tapes!! My 1st visit when I went in to get some ideas for a costume I walked in and I was happilygreeted and felt at home...****it's an actual house!!!*** They are super friendly and helpful..very knowledgeable and current with the latest costumes and such!!..I for a few Ideas and Thought about renting a costume..so I tried on a few and found the one I liked and for the price it was reasonable..She makes most of the costumes herself and the craft and time she puts into her costumes are AMAZING!..so I reserve the costume! Their sales clerk wrote the 1 so close to the line on our invoice, that I assumed our total was 59.10, not 159.10, so I happily signed my slip thinking that we got a great deal from a locally owned shop... NOT THE CASE! And to make matters worse, after contacting the shop when I noticed the discrepancy we were told all sales are final and they won't offer store credit when I made it clear I wasn't just looking for a refund. Thanks for overcharging us for BAGGED costumes. Will never be back again, and will surely tell everyone to steer clear of this overpriced and poorly managed business. read more
