The costumes beautiful and authentic looking...the owner runs the place and was completely helpful from beginning to end...she sized my husband and son for their costumes from me just FaceTiming them and them standing back from the camera and standing straight...she is great and knows her stuff! Didn't believe we'd have as good of a costume for the event. I chose lederhosen and my wife got a beer maiden dress. My wife won the best dressed for the female costume which I'll attest to hair dressing abilities along with all of the extras she put into the outfit. I have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, who did us a huge favor, following a mishap we had where she allowed us to rent the costumes for a little extra time due to a last minute cancellation. Thank you again and we'll definitely be renting costumes from here again.

The clerk who I spoke to said the website and pricing are from the corporate office and the Stockdale store does not honor corporate prices. He was professional, patient and listened to my complaint...he coulda been the clerk for all I know. He repeated the store, a franchise, did not honor corporate ads/prices. I think its absurd that a national franchise would not honor corporate prices...a Big Mac is the same price all over California. If this store won't honor corporate prices, it feels like a bait and switch scheme to me. Vincent said there was a "disclosure," on the first page of the website...maybe, but I couldn't find it. The store was organized, and there were tons of costumes and masks to choose from, maybe because it's the end of August. Thought I'd drop by Hobby lobby I'm looking for some stencils. Hoping we might have them here…read morelocally instead of having to order some and wait. I need them right away. I forgot how big this store is, Memorial Day and Fourth of July supplies and declarations are out in abundance. My wife was with me so I knew this short stop in was gonna take a little longer and I was right. I wasn't able to find the stencils that I was looking for it, we made it through the store, looking at all the different departments. We got some good ideas for future projects. Lots of employees were working stocking different areas. Most all were helpful. I found some foam brushes that I use at a great price. I bought two packs from Lucy at the checkout she was super friendly with a great smile and personality. Hobby lobby was a great experience with the American flags, red white and blue decorations, and 4th of July displays I was even more patriotic and proud to be American when I left. I'll be back.
