Hosted a birthday party for my 8th year old daughter. The staff placed the order for the pizza and hour into our party, then came back shortly after and said Dominos had a "shortage" and they were unable to provide the pizza as provided and offered to make us burgers and hotdogs which we refused cause that was not in the contract of the party. They then stated they would order from Pizza Hut but then said it wouldn't get here til the end of the party which was unacceptable. It was a huge mess!!!! FINALLY 20min til the party ended they magically arrived with our order from Dominos pizza but they forced our guest to move tables to make way for the other parties. Pretty much rushed us out. Extremely unprofessional older female was rude to my guest. If you ask them questions on their Facebook page posts that point out their facility conditions, they'll delete your comments and block you. I asked them if they fixed the bathroom stalls in their men's bathroom. 2 of the 3 stall doors have been broken completely off for months. they've had no toilet paper and no soap on multiple occasions. I now bring my own TP/soap incase I have to use the bathroom. Again, they will delete your comments and block you on facebook. read more

Their hours say they are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I understand that Thursday is Thanksgiving. However, it should be ON THE WEBSITE that they will be closed when they are normally open. This rink as a whole is absolutely terrible. Sadly, its the only one in the McAllen area so when I come visit family here its my only option. The wooden planks are loose in places on the floor and bumpy in others. This rink is clearly not well maintained. They also don't keep in mind absolute beginners or artistic skaters (like myself) in mind. I'm surprised that this place has remained open with how its managed and maintained. read more

I will give it 1 star because the staff was very attentive. But OMG! The floor is horrible. I have been skating since i was a kid... which is for a long time. Lol I took my family there two weeks ago. I almost fell quite a few times. It was my son's first time skating so he used the pipes on wheels that they have for beginners and he almost fell as well. Seems to me like that they had carpet or some sort of flooring on top of the hard wood floors and they just removed it and didn't bother sanding it down or doing whatever it takes to smooth out the floor. We saw a man fall and break his leg. The paramedics came and took him out on a stretcher. I felt so bad for him and his family. He looked as if he was in a lot of pain. After that happened, we decided to leave. I will not bring my loved ones here after witnessing that. Please use caution while skating there. read more

Canceled our Girl Scout private party of 60ppl 1 day before with no appropriate compensation or adequate notice or reason. Claimed to have missed on calendar and decided to treat floors. Owner hiding behind management and not attending to business. Wanted to celebrate Cinco de Mayo instead and close rather than making good on our booked and deposited party. Unprofessional and incompetent establishment. We will ask the 80+ RGV GS Troops to not do business with Fantasy Land, as they disregard customers, especially children. read more

The place was poorly lit, there was no one on the rink making sure everyone was ok unlike other rinks I've gone to. The floors were bumpy so that worries me for beginner skaters or first timers. The prices were pretty ok though. read more

It is a place that you do not see unless you pay attention. Not too bad on price as we paid $54 for 7 people with skate rentals which is cheaper than the movies and you get good exercise. Many people did not know how to skate so they would bump into other people a lot. No DJ or person monitoring the skaters which would have been better. Floors were uneven and looks like they grabbed a bunch of pieces and put them together. Even people who knew how to skate were falling a lot and it was hard for beginners to get their flow going. read more

This place was awesome, took my girlfriend for her birthday. Service was great we had the pizza party and that came with 10 skates, 2 pizzas, and a pitcher of coke. The rink was great for both beginners and more advanced people I'd totally recommend ! read more

This place wasn't very good. The floors were VERY uneven, which made it hard to skate (especially for people who aren't good at it, like myself). There were a few small holes in the floors also, which caused you to trip if you skated over them. One thing in particular, they were going to turn all the lights off, so if you wanted to skate you had to buy lights. I bought 4 finger lights that you strapped onto your fingers for 4 dollars(where at the dollar store you can get them for 99 cents)!! Then before I had even used them at all, one didn't work, and when I put them on two fell off their straps, and since I am VERY much a beginner, I needed both hands to balance myself. Then I was down to one. My friend also bought these, and whilst she was skating, three broke off, leaving broken peices on the floor in the dark. I was very dissapointed, and would not recommend this place (especially if you are a beginner). read more

Totally uneven floor!!! I do not recommend. We were lucky we went early and lights were still on and not a lot people.
