There were twelve people for a 6 course vegan menu. While the menus aren't always 100% vegan, they can do a full vegan option at any of their pop-ups if you provide advance notice. It's a pop-up, so the only food there will be what is being served to the small group. The courses are spaced out so you have a chance to talk with the other diners and meet new people. Everyone sits together at one table. All meals are gluten free and BYOB, so feel free to bring wine to share or beverages for yourself. The meal was thoughtful and vegetable forward. There's nothing like this in Buffalo, but lots of places serving food like this in bigger cities - Chicago, Philadelphia, NYC, LA. Do yourself a favor and let Chef Claire wow you with vegetables and other plant-based foods where the animal products, if any, just play a supporting role. Eat better.

Claire is clearly really knowledgeable and passionate about her ingredients and flavor combinations, and everything was truly phenomenal. So I had no idea the Monocle Building even existed, but I have had my eye on Cafe Bewilderment…read morethrough Instagram for quite a while. I was thrilled to finally make to it Cafe Bewilderment for lunch yesterday. First and foremost, the Monocle Building itself is stunning with immaculate vibes. Once we found Cafe Bewilderment, I was, in fact, bewildered. It's beautiful, it's wild, and it's a place I already know I'll want to return to again and again. The setup is simple: order at the counter, grab your table marker (a very tiny tree stump - how fun is that?), and your food is brought out to you. All of the employees were friendly and the gentleman at the register helped me decide between the Lox Sandwich and the Hot Honey Burrata. He recommended the lox so I went with that. The Lox Sandwich was more of a lox toast than a sandwich, but whatever it was delicious and surprisingly filling. My mom ordered the Bewild BLT and ended up taking half of it home, so I'd say hers was also filling. To drink, I ordered a hot latte with lavender and cardamom. It was so, so good, and the presentation was chef's kiss. Honestly, though, the decor is mesmerizing. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to admire - even the bathroom. I really, really, really want to come back to try more of the menu as well as their cocktails. Something tells me Cafe Bewilderment is just as magical in the evening as it is during the day!!!

Always busy! We were able to get seats at the bar on a Sunday. Bartender was very pleasant. They…read moreshould probably figure out better seating organization, and the front of house probably would benefit from hiring one more person. Many of the Sunday Specials had been sold out by 10:30 am, felt a little early to be sold out with the daily specials but ok. The sandwiches looked terrific! Next time I'll have one of those. Great addition to Hertel.

Got spring rolls; a small Ton Kha soup and mango sticky rice - welp, I was bursting with happiness despite dining solo - everything was soooooooooooo delicious! and hot !! and flavorful !!! First and will definitely not be my last trip to Tiny Thai! side note: I was going to take the food back to work to eat but couldn't resist trying a few bites so I ended up eating outside the restaurant (there were a few table and chairs with a big window - quiet and aesthetic ambiance if I do say so myself) and took 1/2 of the soup and 1/2 of the mango sticky rice back to work. The soup was still delicious -and I didn't reheat it- ! I loved the 'warm' mango sticky rice and left the last half in the fridge - pretty sure it'll also taste good so definitely looking forward to late night dessert!!! (will post cold mango sticky rice verdict next review)

I got the Pad Ka Pow with pork and an order of the spring rolls. The service was so fast here and friendly. I got my food to go and it was still piping hot when I got home 15 minutes later. This is quite the meal with a large portion of rice in the main dish and five spring rolls. It was delicious from start to finish. Each dish came with an extra sauce to use or dip into. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor. The pad ka pow was a perfect balance of savory flavor with the right amount of spice. I should have asked to get shrimp with it this time, but that will happen when I go back next time. The parking at Chandler Street can be a little tough but I found a spot which was nice. The building is full of businesses so it is a nice place to be when you're hungry. Tiny Thai is one of my new favorite places to check out in the city and if you're ever over near the Westside, you should too!

I ordered 2 tacos, the Touchy Feely ground turkey marinated in a red sauce and the 5 Star taco which was Cajun marinated grilled chicken. My husband ordered the All-America cheeseburger eggroll. Chef Josey does magical things with egg rolls. Think cinnamon roll egg roll! Didnt get that today but its one of her specialties. It's a toss up which taco I liked best but think I'll go either the 5 star. I loved the creole sauce. Both were good size and very filling plus all the meat was freshly cooked as we stood there. Besides good food, both Chef Josey and Alena are super friendly and fun to talk to. Do yourself a favor and check them out!. 2023-20

We decided to not cook tonight and grab something local since fast food didn't sound great. We decided to order from SZN since they just reopened yesterday and it sounded really good! Chef Josey is a master in the kitchen with how these tacos turned out. We got two birria tacos, two five star tacos, and a Cinnabon eggroll. Everything was so delicious that it didn't last on the plate very long. Do yourself a favor and order from SZN soon. They usually sell out pretty quick!
