    Shrimp Tempura Roll
    Kinnie I.

Nice place to have dinner or you can actually hear your companion speaking, was my first impression. we were there on a weeknight and there was only one other couple dining. Seems like a family atmosphere. Which I liked. Everybody enjoyed their dishes. My daughter enjoyed her sushi roll. I believe it was the spicy crab. She doesn't care for a Thai food surprisingly! Green curry was seasoned perfectly, I could eat that every day! my friend had the tofu version since she's vegetarian and she loved it! The prices are average for Thai food, around $14-$15 per dish. Efficient and quick service. Thai food restaurant in Depew. It's on my list now.

Lunch special Green curry with Shrimp $13.99, comes with clear soup

I needed Asian food and was happy to find this place to try after reading some of the reviews. Here are the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Good: - Clean and spacious with nice decor - Prompt service - Nice selection of array of dishes for Japanese, Thai, and other southern Asian countries - Food quality & taste: Rainbow roll $16.99 and Green curry with shrimp lunch special $13.99 was very good and nice portions - No additional service charge with credit card payment The Bad: - Expensive! I was expecting the price in Depew would be a bit cheaper than the duchess county/Westchester area, but the Miso soup is $5.99 for a small bowl, the app dumplings only came with 4 small dumplings for $5.99 - Be aware of overpriced items with small portions (see above comment) The Ugly: - The free beer with Yelp check-in is no longer honored by the owner, but still exist on the app - You can't substitute the soup that comes with lunch special with miso soup which is kind of B.S. - The tea that comes in the tea pot order is the cheap bag tea instead of the actual loose leaf as it should be for an authentic Asian restaurant - The owner is not friendly Even though the food deserves 4 stars, given the portion, price, and overall experience, I'm rating it 3 Stars. There are other Asian restaurants in the area I probably will try before coming back here again.

Bermese style curry with chicken and potatoes

Beautiful and clean restaurant! Service was fantastic ! For starters the chicken dumpling soup was amazing ! Hubby liked his chicken satay but said although the flavor was good it was a little dry. Hubby had the chicken pad Thai and I had the Bernese style curry with potatoes and chicken. Taste was pretty good. Chicken was deboned and a little dry. Dish was slightly too salty for me but that is nothing usual for me to complain about. The iced Thai tea was spot on delicious !

Thai basil fried rice. So good!!!!

Came in on a Saturday night and were the only table, but I'm not sure why because this place was incredible!! We had miso soup, dumplings, Thai basil rice, chicken stir fried noddles, and a few other dishes. Everything was amazing. Flavor, presentation, all of it was great. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon!! Would have taken more pictures but we ate everything so fast it was too good.

What a great spot! My mom and I wanted sushi on a Monday. The original place we were going to was closed on Mondays and we didn't realize until we pulled up and saw the hours. Luckily, Camellia Gardens was right down the street and open on a Monday. My mom and I arrived around 7:30pm and another table for 2 was there, but left shortly after we arrived. They sounded like they had a delicious meal, though, so I was happy with making the choice to come here. The server was extremely friendly. We split shrimp pad thai and a red dragon roll. It was scrumptious. My mom doesn't like a lot of heat, so we went with mild on the pad thai, and we should have turned it up a little more, though. Next time I go, I'll order a 3.5 to 4 and see how that is. The red dragon roll was very delicious and featured shrimp tempura, tuna and fish eggs. The flavors were fantastic.

So clean inside, friendly staff , foods fresh and always good. We like trying new places and rarely revisit the same place but this is our 5 time here this year because it's just that good - every time!

    Pad Kee Mow
    Madison H.

Really terrific Thai food! I had the pad kee mao and couldn't have been happier with how my dish turned out. Spice level (medium) was perfect and the flavor was bursting with every bite. Service was a bit slow, but understandable with only one person manning the floor/delivery system/phones at the same time.

    Deep fried crab roll

We were so excited to go to a Thai/Burmese/sushi restaurant down the street, only to realize they were closed. I looked on my handy Yelp app and there was this 4.5 star restaurant right down the street. We were there on a Monday, so only one other party was there while we were there, but they were busy doing take out orders. I decided to order something I've never seen on a sushi menu before, deep fried sushi! I ordered the crab with cream cheese and spicy sauce. Omg I have a new favorite dish. It was a huge roll and so delicious. It was hard not to eat the entire roll at one sitting, because it was that good! My friend ordered the Panang I think with chicken. She said it was really good too. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will be back soon!

    Tuna Tataki Bowl

I love all of the food here!! This time I tried some new things and was not disappointed. The tuna tataki bowl was delicious and refreshing. I also highly recommend trying the deep fried rolls and adding the cream cheese- big enough roll to split!

This is quickly becoming one of our favourite Thai restaurants in the area. The servers are always very attentive. Tables are set with tablecloths, cloth napkins, music playing, etc. Nice ambiance for a date night or someplace a bit more special. The menu has a great selection so you can get Thai or sushi depending on your mood. There are also a few Burmese items mixed in. I started with the Tom Yum vegetarian and the BF ordered the Tom Kha. Both were delicious and piping hot. For dinner I ordered Pad Kee Mow with tofu and the BF ordered Pad See Ew with chicken. There's so much flavor in their veggies, everything has a nice char on the outside. The sauces are delicious but not overpowering. My only complaint is that it's so delicious I want more when I'm finished! Definitely worth a trip even if you don't live close by!

It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). They have booth seating, counter seating for one (or two) and offer outdoor seating with a little picnic table, shaded area and they also accept cash/credit. On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. Portions are large and filling. I've also ordered take-out and picked up my order, the staff is super friendly and there's such an upbeat vibe to the place.

My server was great. She was super attentive and made sure my cup was never out of water. (I usually drink water when dining out) The place is def little so it gets packed quick. A couple booths and a couple tables. Maybe 10 total. Parking can be very tight in front so go to the back or side. I'll be back to try other things.

Running a search on my…read moreYelp app for best restaurant for dinner, Skoob's Village Grille popped up and all-in-all, it was a good experience. I walked in around 7:20pm on a Wednesday night to a busy restaurant and bar. I had no issues with parking as I used one of the public parking lots near downtown and took a short walk over, but if tried to find a parking spot on the street, that would've been pretty difficult. I did see the parking lot for a, now closed for good, Rite Aid that had a few cars and some open spaces, so that seems to be an option as well. Upon walking in there was a host station, which said to wait for the host to seat you. Past the host station, there is a good-size bar and several high-top tables and chairs, a separate dining room with plenty of tables and chairs for families/larger groups, as well as an outdoor patio with more high tables and chairs. Plenty of TVs were hung up around the bar/restaurant and classic rock was playing over the speakers, but it wasn't too loud, you could carry a conversation with relative ease. The hostess was going to seat me but then a random couple came, ignoring the sign, and took it that table... The hostess managed to find me another high-top table by their outdoor patio entrance. After I was seated, I was forgotten about for nearly 15 minutes. I was about ready to get up and leave when one of the waitresses going in/out of the patio stopped by and asked if anyone was taking care of me. She apologized and immediately took my drink order. Once I got my drink, I was about ready to order dinner but was undecided, so I asked her what's the more popular item and went with it. The wait for my dinner was a bit long, nearly 40 minutes passed by the time my dinner was brought out - At this point, it was after 8pm. For dinner, I ordered their Chicken Finger Sub, with the fingers sauced in their "Jessie's Everything" specialty sauce (a small upcharge) and topped with bleu cheese served with a side of fries. The chicken finger sub was excellent! The chicken tenders were fried perfectly and there was the right amount of lettuce, tomato, red onion. The "Jessie's Everything" sauce was great - It wasn't too spicy-hot, the sauce reminded me of a banana pepper. The Constanzo roll with the tomatoes on the bottom did make this sub a little hard to eat as the filling kept sliding around and falling out the sides, but it was worth the mess! The fries were fine, nothing special. Looking over my bill, I thought the price for my dinner was reasonable for the quality and quantity I received. Skoob's Village Grille nails the vibe of being the bar in a small town where everyone goes to for a drink, classic bar food, and to relax with friends. If I have one nitpick, I think the service times need to be looked at and improved. But even with that nitpick, I'd come back and try one of their burgers or an order of chicken wings with one of their specialty sauces!
