Lunch special Green curry with Shrimp $13.99, comes with clear soup
    Sherry C.

I needed Asian food and was happy to find this place to try after reading some of the reviews. Here are the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Good: - Clean and spacious with nice decor - Prompt service - Nice selection of array of dishes for Japanese, Thai, and other southern Asian countries - Food quality & taste: Rainbow roll $16.99 and Green curry with shrimp lunch special $13.99 was very good and nice portions - No additional service charge with credit card payment The Bad: - Expensive! I was expecting the price in Depew would be a bit cheaper than the duchess county/Westchester area, but the Miso soup is $5.99 for a small bowl, the app dumplings only came with 4 small dumplings for $5.99 - Be aware of overpriced items with small portions (see above comment) The Ugly: - The free beer with Yelp check-in is no longer honored by the owner, but still exist on the app - You can't substitute the soup that comes with lunch special with miso soup which is kind of B.S. - The tea that comes in the tea pot order is the cheap bag tea instead of the actual loose leaf as it should be for an authentic Asian restaurant - The owner is not friendly Even though the food deserves 4 stars, given the portion, price, and overall experience, I'm rating it 3 Stars. There are other Asian restaurants in the area I probably will try before coming back here again.

Bermese style curry with chicken and potatoes

Beautiful and clean restaurant! Service was fantastic ! For starters the chicken dumpling soup was amazing ! Hubby liked his chicken satay but said although the flavor was good it was a little dry. Hubby had the chicken pad Thai and I had the Bernese style curry with potatoes and chicken. Taste was pretty good. Chicken was deboned and a little dry. Dish was slightly too salty for me but that is nothing usual for me to complain about. The iced Thai tea was spot on delicious !

Thai basil fried rice. So good!!!!

Came in on a Saturday night and were the only table, but I'm not sure why because this place was incredible!! We had miso soup, dumplings, Thai basil rice, chicken stir fried noddles, and a few other dishes. Everything was amazing. Flavor, presentation, all of it was great. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon!! Would have taken more pictures but we ate everything so fast it was too good.

What a great spot! My mom and I wanted sushi on a Monday. The original place we were going to was closed on Mondays and we didn't realize until we pulled up and saw the hours. Luckily, Camellia Gardens was right down the street and open on a Monday. My mom and I arrived around 7:30pm and another table for 2 was there, but left shortly after we arrived. They sounded like they had a delicious meal, though, so I was happy with making the choice to come here. The server was extremely friendly. We split shrimp pad thai and a red dragon roll. It was scrumptious. My mom doesn't like a lot of heat, so we went with mild on the pad thai, and we should have turned it up a little more, though. Next time I go, I'll order a 3.5 to 4 and see how that is. The red dragon roll was very delicious and featured shrimp tempura, tuna and fish eggs. The flavors were fantastic.

So clean inside, friendly staff , foods fresh and always good. We like trying new places and rarely revisit the same place but this is our 5 time here this year because it's just that good - every time!

Really terrific Thai food! I had the pad kee mao and couldn't have been happier with how my dish turned out. Spice level (medium) was perfect and the flavor was bursting with every bite. Service was a bit slow, but understandable with only one person manning the floor/delivery system/phones at the same time.

    Deep fried crab roll

We were so excited to go to a Thai/Burmese/sushi restaurant down the street, only to realize they were closed. I looked on my handy Yelp app and there was this 4.5 star restaurant right down the street. We were there on a Monday, so only one other party was there while we were there, but they were busy doing take out orders. I decided to order something I've never seen on a sushi menu before, deep fried sushi! I ordered the crab with cream cheese and spicy sauce. Omg I have a new favorite dish. It was a huge roll and so delicious. It was hard not to eat the entire roll at one sitting, because it was that good! My friend ordered the Panang I think with chicken. She said it was really good too. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will be back soon!

    Tuna Tataki Bowl

I love all of the food here!! This time I tried some new things and was not disappointed. The tuna tataki bowl was delicious and refreshing. I also highly recommend trying the deep fried rolls and adding the cream cheese- big enough roll to split!

This is quickly becoming one of our favourite Thai restaurants in the area. The servers are always very attentive. Tables are set with tablecloths, cloth napkins, music playing, etc. Nice ambiance for a date night or someplace a bit more special. The menu has a great selection so you can get Thai or sushi depending on your mood. There are also a few Burmese items mixed in. I started with the Tom Yum vegetarian and the BF ordered the Tom Kha. Both were delicious and piping hot. For dinner I ordered Pad Kee Mow with tofu and the BF ordered Pad See Ew with chicken. There's so much flavor in their veggies, everything has a nice char on the outside. The sauces are delicious but not overpowering. My only complaint is that it's so delicious I want more when I'm finished! Definitely worth a trip even if you don't live close by!

Hard working people working in this restaurant as we could see as we peaked in the kitchen on our way out the door. Small place with huge menu. Decisions, decisions on just what to order. Hubby chose the shrimp bento box. He enjoyed. I ended up with the Tom Kar soup and california rolls. I loved the soup. And it was the good kind of california rolls...not the fake crab stick...the salad style (see my pic). The decor is quirky and kind of a no frills type place. Nothing fancy or high end by any stretch. Quite a few tables occupied, and lots of takeout orders. Seems the word is out that they have delicious food. I do recommend if you want your sushi fix.

That includes clearing of items you're done with immediately and no waiting for your bill. I was never rushed; they were just great at their job! Honestly hard to find over the last few years and I was very grateful for that experience alone. The ambience was a very cozy-casual. As I was dining alone this time, I enjoyed the 80s music and videos playing on the TV haha I have to be honest ... I really really wanted to order a roll! But I'm trying to do better about trying other things. So I ordered the Atlantic mussels and the pan seared scallops with veggies with fresh ginger sauce and rice, at a spice level of 3/5. The mussels were very generous and in a large bowl. My biggest pull, aside from the mussels themselves, was that in the description it had a creamy coconut sauce. But I did not taste any coconut and it wasn't creamy. It was broth. It wasn't bad or anything, just not quite what I was expecting. I did appreciate, in general, that there were a couple of mussel options. I hadn't had them in quite some time. The dinner entree was very good. I loved that there was a 1-5 spice scale to choose from. I picked level 3 and was a little worried it wouldn't be spicy enough but it definitely was! It was perfect. The sauce was good and the scallops plump. Veggies were fresh and rice sticky. I had water to drink and it was also very good (felt it deserved a mention lol). I would definitely come back here, but I would definitely order rolls next time! It's what my heart really desires! Side note: great place to indulge in for a whole food diet! I felt very satisfied from my seafood and veggies!!

My friend and I chose to dine in, even though the small seating area makes it clear this place is more focused on takeout. Still, I appreciated having the option to sit and enjoy our meal there. The menu had so many tempting options, and ordering at the counter was quick and easy--special thanks to the super friendly employee who took care of us. I went with the chicken pad thai (medium spice, $13) and the mango black rice ($7), while my friend ordered the honey sesame chicken ($15) and also got the mango black rice. It did take a little while for our food to come out, but honestly, we didn't mind waiting. Just something to note, though--even takeout orders seemed to take a few minutes after people arrived to pick them up. Now, let's talk about the food--it was AMAZING! Everything came out hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The chicken pad thai was perfectly seasoned, and the mango black rice was the ideal sweet and satisfying dessert. Portion sizes were generous--I even had leftovers for later, which is always a bonus. While it's a bit on the pricier side for dinner, it's absolutely worth it for an occasional treat. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this local gem!

This time we ordered the Burmese beef curry, shrimp pho and veggie fried spring rolls. The Burmese beef curry was actually great, perfect portion and amount of beef for $15. I asked for it to be really spicy and it was, which was very nice. My husband chose this and really enjoyed it I ordered the pho and added shrimp for a total of $15. They gave me a quart of broth, which was very nice and flavorful...and five small shrimp. They included plenty of rice noodles. The toppings could've been more generous. I only got one sprig of mint and I could barely find the green onions or cilantro, literally. Plenty of bean sprouts, tho. The included hot sauce is delicious. The vegetable spring rolls were ok..I wish they had more veggie filling, they were pretty empty. At $6 for three, I don't think they're worth $2 each. All in all, it was a pretty good experience.
