Was in Buffalo and wanted to stop by and grab something eat while out. I ordered the chicken steak hoagie or chopped chicken hoagie. It came out hot and more than enough for a person with a big appetite like myself. It had a lot of flavor and enjoyable to munch on. There was a lot of chicken in that hoagie to the point it was falling from the hoagie because it was packed with so much of it. The place is clean and the folks running are pleasant and easy to talk to. Best chopped chicken hoagie I ever had.

Much like Buffalo it's self and many other spots inside of it At Eleven is a hidden gem! I lived less than 3 minutes away from this place and never noticed it. However, I am thrilled that I discovered it after a recommendation from a friend and native Buffalonian. I was even more thrilled at the fact that they had vegan options. When I went in I was instantly greeted. The cashier was relaxed, well informed, and didn't mind entertaining all of the questions I had as a recent transplant. My non-vegan friend and colleague was eager to try the wings. For myself I decided on the chopped burger. This was a step out of my usuals. However they did not disappointed. The chopped burger was flavorful and filling. Additionally, one of the highlights was how finely chopped the burger was it. It really resembled a cheesesteak sandwich. My friend got the country fried wings which he loved with Mac and cheese and yams. He wasn't as impressed with yams. He did rave about the chicken! Overall this trip was a success. I'm delighted to add a new spot to my list of places to check out.

This spot has the salmon hoagies with the Cajun fries. The steak hoagie is also great at this location. Don't let's spot fool. The best food you ever gone taste comes from owner/chef name Quincey

Fish fry is well seasoned and flaky ! Fresh side salad is perfectly fresh ! Velvet cake slice is massive and moist , enough for 2 to share :) Ordered a double order of hot wings, they are decent , but a little short on sauce. Appreciate the celery included was fresh ! Delivery was fast! We are quarantined and I appreciate the quality and short wait time .

I finally made it back to my people's spot, for my favorite crab cake sliders with honey Cajun fries, HOWEVER, Quincey Morris added a special tonight with catfish bites! And y'all missing out! The seasoning on the batter and the special sauce is BANGIN!!‼ 5 OUTTA 5

Fried Haddock and Shrimp Combo

Tried this place for a fish fry last week..... up in the air about it : 1st the fish haddock was nice and big not sure what seasoning or batter they use it was different not bad , just not a regular batter. The side of cabbage was good ,small but spicy. The side of Mac and cheese was nothing I'd get again ‍, tasted like it was out the box, didn't have a good color , wasn't cheesy at all . The honey Cajun drizzle was really good , I feel like I will give this place one more try but order wings , which they seem to have a variety of flavors for.

a tray of macaroni and cheese

Very disappointed Mac was old and yams tasted like it came out microwave only thing that was good for me and distant was the fish and that's probably only cause you have to fish upon an order smh won't come back here again

Vegan Impossible Chopped Burger and Regular Fries

My husband and I just got takeout from At Eleven. Please just do yourself a favor and get your next dinner here! We're obsessed already. The fried haddock had an incredible amount of flavor. I've never had a fish fry with such a kick! The fish also came with a choice of two sides (we chose mac and cheese and seasoned fries - the seasoned fries were awesome). It also came with hot sauce, tartar sauce, and a roll. The menu claims that you can order the fish any day, which is great because I will definitely go back for this again. But let me talk about the real star of the show for a minute: the chopped impossible burger. My photo doesn't do it justice. I can't believe how much flavor was packed into it. There was such a great balance of the cheeseless cheese with the meatless meat and what I assume is onions and banana peppers. Plus, the texture of the roll with everything else made for a very satisfying bite. I'm not vegan but this was incredible! At Eleven will definitely be one of my go-to places. I can't wait to go back to this business and try more of the menu!

Jerk chicken

Ordered the jerk chicken and Cajun honey fries. The chicken was packed with flavor but was mainly bone. Not much chicken at all. Asked for rice and peas like on the menu but received plain white rice. The cabbage and Mac and cheese were good sides and I would get them again. The Cajun honey fries are great and would get them every time I order. Overall I will try the fish and wings next or the Alfredo but probably will pass on the jerk chicken due to not getting much at all. Might be an off day though.

The food is very good. Good for dinner, not lunch. You would not have time to enjoy the food at lunch.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

They were extremely hot, temperature-wise, and stayed quite hot until we decided to quit for the night. Yes, we had a doggy bag! The negative was the celery sticks. It is unusual for restaurants to serve both celery and carrot sticks. Many serve only one or the other or none. The celery on our platter was tough; it tasted "old", not fresh. There was plenty of blu cheese sauce served with our large order.

Holy cow that was a lot of food. We were certainly full and the meal was great. The bread was soft w caraway seeds, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The wings were in the buffalo dry rub w mild sauce - we had a plane to catch so nothing too spicy. The wings did have a lot of flavor, not hot but a bit warm. And there was a good crunch to the outside. The interior was all dark wood, motorcycles, and license plates. It added to the ambience of a dive bar w great food. We will definitely go back!

Instead, the place felt more like a cavernous tourist stop than the legendary wing destination I had imagined. The wings were good, but not great. We ordered them dry so we could try several sauces. The wings were cooked perfectly. The sauces, however, were underwhelming. We tried the garlic parmesan, the original, and the extreme heat sauce, which I believe used to be was called "Suicidal." They all seemed to rely almost entirely on cayenne and butter, with limited complexity and less heat than expected. Maybe I've been spoiled by other wing spots with more creative sauces and better blue cheese and ranch, but these just didn't stand out. That said, the service was great, and I appreciated the staff. I'm glad I went for the history, but based on the food alone, it didn't live up to the hype. I will not go back.

Fun. The menu is pretty big for a bar, a mix of regular bar food and a bunch of other options. Our waitress was really friendly and told me the French onion soup is one of their popular items, so that got me excited. It came out fast and it was pretty good. The croutons were honestly my favorite part, super seasoned and actually had flavor. This was only my second time having French onion soup though and I'm still on the fence... it felt like it was missing something, or maybe I just don't get the hype yet lol My friend got the chicken broccoli alfredo and I got the cajun chicken linguine. The portions are HUGE, like you're definitely not leaving hungry. She said hers didn't have much flavor even after adding salt and pepper and was already planning how she was going to fix it at home. My chicken was a little burnt so it was dry and kind of messed with the flavor, but the pasta itself was good. I loved that they added a little bread to soak up the sauce. The huge portions made up for the bland flavors. Not even gonna lie, a few bites in my stomach said "absolutely not" which is no fault of theirs, 100% on me for going all in on dairy, so my friend ended up taking both meals home. Overall I'd recommend it if you like a bar vibe, big portions, and solid food. 8.3/10

For me, I like my wings crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, well cooked. The wings I had here were excellent. But all the flavor was in the sauce, whereas some people like dry rubs or smoked wings. The restaurant is old and and is not modern in any way. The lighting is a little on the dark side. The service was OK, not fantastic. Would go again, and they deserve 4 stars.

I visit the city every year in the fall, and I am still trying all of the wing places that have been recommended. The latest on my list was Doc Sullivan's, a very, VERY local watering hole. This is the kind of place that makes you immediately remember that you are absolutely not from here, but in the best possible way. Doc's is a historic, no-frills neighborhood pub smack in the heart of South Buffalo's Irish Heritage district. The second we walked in as clearly obvious outsiders, the entire room of rough-and-tumble regulars seemed to pause their conversations, turn towards the door, and stare at us. Even the bartender (who also doubled as the host and our waiter) clocked us immediately with a cheerful, "Hey visitors!" It was hilarious and broke the awkwardness we were starting to feel. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming once the moment passed, but it was clear we stood out from the regular crowd. If you have an aversion to dive bars, this is not the place for you because Doc's is not fancy. It's well-worn and smells like Fabuloso cleaner mixed with stale cigarette smoke and old beer. I was surprised at how clean the place was, but it does have that dive bar smell and feel. I felt like I'd walked onto a movie set because this place screams Buffalo, and does so loudly and proudly. I'm not a fan of chicken wings, but my hubby is. Food-wise, he ordered a half dozen of the famous Smitty Wings at the suggestion of the bartender, which come coated in the house's unique spiced butter sauce along with a half dozen with hot sauce. He liked the Smitty wings fine, but preferred the classic hot Buffalo wings, which he said had legit heat and were "more than decent." Not his all-time favorite wings, but still tasty and meaty enough to earn his respect. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was massive. It was a fried chicken breast patty on a super soft, fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, and onions, tossed in a mild Buffalo sauce that had just enough heat for a timid spice girl like me. The quality was good, but not great, and it was basically the same chicken sandwich you can get at dozens of places around town (it was very similar to the same menu item at the Anchor Bar, for example). The fries were nothing special, and they tasted like regular old french fries you'd get at your local deli. They were freshly fried, hot and crispy, and we both appreciated that malt vinegar was already on the table. We had a good experience at Doc Sullivan's, but agreed that we would not go out of our way to eat here again. I wouldn't call it a must-do for foodies, but I'm still really glad we went. While the food wasn't all that memorable, it felt like a true local Buffalo experience that you don't get at polished, tourist-friendly spots. This is the place if you want to soak up local character and are seeking another stop on your buffalo wing eating tour.

The smitty wings just tasted like mild buffalo sauce and the honey cajun was pretty good. My issue was with the "ranch" sauce because it tasted like straight horseradish and every bite left a bitter aftertaste. The poutine fries would've been good if they didn't make the gravy with the power of the pacific ocean with how salty it is. All time favorite is def it's the hot honey pizza rolls, so bomb!
