Lovely space! We came by here for a family/cousins get together type of event and so glad we chose this location. We all came by earlier in the day, mid afternoon which gave us the luxury of having a majority of the space to ourselves. The instructors were helpful- they gave us enough guidance and enough space to just enjoy! What we really enjoyed the most was the different assortment of craft beers/cides/seltzers they had!! Being in upstate new york, it was nice to be able to enjoy some of the local brews - which was at a very affordable price as well! Certainly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend it as a celebration and/or date night spot.

Oh what fun it is to throw! And decadently satisfying when you stick it! Was hoping for more alcohol because who doesn't like throwing sharp shit when you have a beer in your hand but alas, no beer this Saturday afternoon! Still fun but missing that 5th Star-Please give me a beer! $25 per person and free on your birthday if you bring 5 others along to kick some axe!!!

Axe throwing is the new big thing in the area! This is one of quite a few venues popping up in the albany area and I am SO happy I came to try it out. Far Shot is more than just axe throwing, they also offer knife throwing and archery, but the axes were my favorite of the bunch. The team at Far Shot is so helpful and nice. They give you great instructions and then just let you have at it! There were multiple different axes to chose from at all different weights, and they replace the boards as necessary when they get worn out. Throwing axes is easier than it sounds with the help from their team. You'll be throwing bullseyes before you know it! It was such a rush after I got the hang of it, and I was pretty good! Far Shot also offers alcoholic and non beverages, a few snacks, and a ton of fun. Highly recommend getting here and trying something different, who knows, you could be a natural!

Not too shabby, we did hit the target eventually

First time for my birthday and had a great time!! We booked an early slot and had the whole place to ourselves. It was very clean and would come back again!'

I had been dying to try out axe throwing for awhile and I am so happy that my first experience was at Far Shot Albany! First making a reservation is really easy online which is huge for places like this that tend to draw large crowds. You also get to choose which weapon you would like to use during your assassin training, axes, knives, arrows, or all 3! For our first time we chose to just try out the axes (wishing after we would've done knives too because of how much fun we had). Our coach, Marissa, was AMAZING. She gave the best instructions and guided us to bullseyes in no time. Plus she set up some fun competitions for me and my boyfriend, accompanied with just the right amount of smack talk which was perfect. With such a great staff, throwing options, snacks and alcohol it truly is great night out.

Had an awesome night here! Tom and Cabrina were absolutely awesome. We weren't great at it, but got the hang of it over time. Can't wait to come back for knife throwing in a couple of weeks

This was such a fun Place. We had a girls night and learned to throw the axe & archery. Eric was a great instructor. I wish it was longer than an hour but you can extend.

Great time throwing axes with the family. Knowledge and friendly staff... will be back for sure.

My best shot of the night! You can see how the arrows are pretty torn up here.

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. The establishment is pet friendly for "socialized pets" with a water bowl outside the establishment and some free Milkbone treats inside. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products. Thank you once again, Noah, for a pleasant and educational evening!!!
