The food is amazing as well as the coffee. The last two times I've been in, literally back to back, They weren't selling food items. I go in at 1:15pm to get a sandwich and they were already shutting down and cleaning the food station as well as the coffee machines. It says on their website they close at 2pm. I understand walking in at 1:55pm and asking for food that's crazy but still having 45 mins open and you're already closing? Then today, I walk in at 7:30am and they're still not doing food because there was only one employee. Some people work at 8 and want a great breakfast. Their online ordering was also turned off. I actually first found out about this gem via another local small business because they regularly use their parking lot to host family friendly community events. We showed up to one with a free bounce house, classic cars, fantastic local vendors, and the star of the show was definitely Smooth Bean! The coffee shop itself offered free candy, toys, and crafts for the kids as part of the event. But on a regular basis, they have an amazing IG worthy selfie wall as well as toys for little kids and games for families to use. The menu is family friendly too! My kids can't have caffeine due to health conditions so I love that they have several blended drinks that are caffeine free as well as craft Italian soda type options that they were willing to create from scratch for them! My kids went with the Double Chocolate blended drink and my husband tried the blended Vanilla caffeine free one and they all said they were incredible! I was shocked at how gorgeous and well crafted they were for the price compared to the corporate coffee shops and even told them their prices might be too low! They offer waffle dogs and I learned the meat is all lamb sausage from the local high end Midland Meat Market - making the price even more impressive! We watched the staff all go above and beyond for each and every customer with giant smiles on their faces! It was clear how much they all truly do enjoy being a team and working together there to put out a quality product and fun experience for the community! I cannot recommend them highly enough and am excited to go check out their new Greenwood location when it opens!
