They have interactive game on the floor so if your child is a mover and groove it'll keep them occupied. From the front desk staff to the nurses to even Dr. Daisy everybody was phenomenal. You can imagine taking a one year-old to the dentist how not calming she was. But the staff was truly phenomenal with handling my daughter, crying, and trying to get out of the chair. Being a first time, mom, they also taught me some dos and some donts. I'm super happy that they came highly refer referred from several people that I know and trust. Looking forward to our six month appointment.

The bad reviews are a bit confusing to me. I am a total dental phobe and I have kicked myself in…read morethe past for not getting second opinions, and therefore going through unnecessary trauma. I actually was referred to this office for a second opinion because I was terrified of the endodontist who was supposed to perform my root canal. But when I read the reviews, I was planning on canceling. Until I talked to Kimberly. Let me start with her. This woman is incredibly kind and she is passionate about her work. She called me to schedule an appointment. After speaking with her for about 10 minutes, I went from a state of panic to a much more confident place. She was so caring and put me at ease about the whole thing. When I arrived at the office the very next day, she came out to the lobby and gave me a hug. I mean, who does that?? Second, let's go to Dr. Jayson Hartman. He performed my root canal, and I kid you not, it was 100% pain free. He was quick, but not in a rushed way. More like a, let's get this done as quickly as possible because most normal humans don't like drills in their mouths 1 second longer than absolutely necessary, kind of way. As a bonus, he is hilarious. He made me laugh a bunch which aided the soothing effects of the Ativan I had downed an hour earlier. I've never had a root canal but I've had fillings done, and those procedures have never been pain free. So I was bracing myself for an oral horror show. I wish I would've know how painless it would be because I wouldn't have been so nervous. Thirdly, I came in the following day to have the temporary crown placed by Dr. Mina Iravani. She was also amazing! It was actually more painful initially than I thought it would be but she numbed me up good so I didn't feel any pain for the remainder of the procedure. My tooth is still in quite a bit of pain 4 days later so the jury is still out on how the recovery will be. I'm so glad Kimberly intercepted my plans to cancel (unknowingly) because this was as good of an experience as having all this awful stuff done can be.

She is also a perfectionist, so I know she won't finish the visit until she is completely satisfied with her work. I also go to this location for orthodontic services. Dr. Newman and his staff, especially Caroline, are very patient and there is rarely a wait for my appointments. They patiently answer all of my questions and Caroline always puts me at ease. My only complaint is the cleaning services. There is typically a long wait to get in for cleanings, and I have had several cancelations and reschedules on their part in the past year. I also don't like the push that some hygienists do for additional services/add-ons while I'm in the chair. Dr. Iravani and Dr. Newman will keep me coming back.

All of the walls inside the office are painted a soothing ocean color, and ocean-themed murals seem to cover every wall surface. This charmed my son and made this office seem less like a doctor's office and more like a playroom. The room where the cleaning and check up was done is an open room where there are 3-4 workstations, plus benches for parents. A huge window looks out on greenery and makes the space seem very open and light. Two tvs are hanging to distract children, but they are a tad too small and far away for my son to see them. Our dental cleaning hygienist was patient and thoughtful when dealing with my son's fears. She let him sit up to do his cleaning and stopped whenever he expressed any fear or hesitation. I was in the room the entire time, which was helpful. After the cleaning, the very nice dentist checked my son's mouth. My son also went to another room to get a couple of initial x-rays. The technician was creative and patient; the room also had a tv on and a large window looking out. While I could not be too close to him during the x-ray, I was able to stand at the door. I felt very welcomed as a parent. I appreciate not being separated from my child during what could be a stressful time. All of the office staff seemed very chill, laid back and kind. I felt at ease the entire time. I am very appreciative of the design and thought put into this office space!

She really took the time to pull out a model of teeth to show me exactly which tooth she was referring to, so I'd be sure to understand. On the day of my appointment, I was told in a voice mail, their office was not on my HMO insurance plan even though they are listed as a Humana HMO provider. ***Why would your office wait until the day of the appointment to research this? *** Not only did I have to take time off of work and find someone to cover me, but I also lost pay for the time I had to take off. My suggestion is, verify insurance right away and not a month after a new patient makes an appointment. I'm very disappointed because I wanted to go to this dentist.
