The dental office is very inviting, clean and comfortable. Ketelyn was my dental hygienist. I've been using her for years. She's very gentle, knowledgeable, professional and nice. There's a flatscreen TV on the wall so while you're laying there getting your teeth cleaned, you can watch any program you want! After my cleaning my dentist, Dr Julio Cesar De los Rios DMD, examined me, looked at the x-rays and advised me what course of action I should take for the future. He is also very professional, knowledgeable, and nice! Then I proceeded to check out where Dana explained to me about their dental plan and how much of a discount I could get on future procedures. She really took the time to pull out a model of teeth to show me exactly which tooth she was referring to, so I'd be sure to understand. I've been using this Perfect Smile Dentistry office for over 20 years. It's a real easy location to get to with plenty of parking and everyone at the office is super friendly and I feel confident in what they tell me. I am a very satisfied patient. read more

This place is the absolute worst place to get Dental Care. I moved to Florida last year, I tried transferring my Invisalign Treatment Plan, and getting the help I need because I've been missing a tooth for 10+ years of my Life. They procrastinated so much that it took them 3 months to sign the form and transfer my Case. The Worst Part is when the Dentist came in and told me how I needed 30 weeks of treatment even though I was originally only supposed to have 14 weeks of Treatment left. What's even worse about this is how they expected me to pay for the Extra Treatment that I needed even though they chose to be lazy as f***. I honestly do not understand how they even have a License to operate as a Dental Office. Perfect Smile Dentistry Staff are all extremely horrible at communicating, especially with New Patients. I know even God would agree with me on that statement because it's a Fact. The Fact is that I called them 99.9% of the Time I talked to them on the Phone. I am so thankful I didn't have these horrible People give me Dental Care. Especially when they're constantly judging me about my appearance instead of doing their job and providing me with Dental Care even though I have insurance that covers it. Had a dentistry emergency. Called them, Repeated I had PPO insurance but was willing to PAY CASH 3 times. The receptionist doesn't understand the concept of paying in full to get emergency treatment and reconciling the insurance, after collecting cash up front. If they can't navigate an emergency patient offering cash for treatment I have serious doubt they can provide effective treatment. No empathy, no common sense in my opinion. read more

Broke a tooth Friday night of the New Years weekend. Surprisingly they were open on Saturday when most other dentist offices were closed! Even more impressive was they fit me in as a new patient! Lisa, the first person I spoke to on the phone, was incredibly friendly, courteous and nice. Once I got there everyone from Lisa, to Dr. Rodriguez, to his assistants Diane, and Marlene could not have been any more professional. Turns out I needed a crown, and it was absolutely pain free and and a really good experience. Definitely think I've found a new dentist. Every single time I go there for an appointment, no matter how simple, I always have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes before I'm actually seen. It's infuriating. I think that Dr. Akel is the best dentist I've ever been to (and I've been to many). He had been recommended by a close friend who was more (much more) than happy with him. Dr. Akel did two root canals (saved two teeth), two crowns and a filling so it was a wide range of procedures. I also had an excellent teeth cleaning and fluoride tx there by Jamie his hygienist. Nice office, but unfortunately terrible service. I got my teeth whitened here for $250, which was supposed to be a "discount." When I was done, my teeth looked exactly the same. Everyone said they were exactly the same. So I called back and told them I was unhappy. They asked me to come back out there to give me an at home teeth whitening kit. BUT I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR IT. The front desk/administration have no attention detail. They will schedule appointments and then change them without your approval. They will always try to charge more than you should be paying. Some of the ladies won't admit to their shortcomings and being overwhelmed! Office manager is a liar. My insurance paid for x-rays and according to the argument between insurance and Perfect Smile Dentistry the records and x-rays should be provided to the insurance and patient (me). Perfect smile billed the insurance for the entire amount and now will no honor that agreement and will not release the records unless I pay them another 25 dollars. That is the lowest thing I ever seen at the medical or dental office. Perfect Smile Dentistry Is the worst dental office in state of Florida by far. read more

Not a fan of the dentist in general. With this being said, the staff at Perfect Smile is perfectly named. They are exceptionally friendly and you are never waiting more than 5 minutes for your scheduled appointment! Love their hygienists. They are truly miracle workers in your mouth as they take care not to be too rough and make you feel like you're doing a fantastic job brushing and flossing even when you're not! All my children go here as well since they are finally at the age where the pediatric dentist is no longer appropriate when their feet are hanging off! Love everyone there! Don't let the fancy paintings fool you, they aren't perfect. Most terrifying dental experience of my life so far. The guy didn't explain what he was doing whatsoever, unlike all my other previous dentists. I went to him because his "perfect smile dentistry" little website, which-- websites are somewhat useful in picking places, but not always apparently. I will never forget it, I told him I had a cavity I'd been waiting to get treated, and he said, so what do you want to do with it? I was thinking.... your the dentist.... your supposed to tell *me* what your going to do, and KNOW exactly what to do. 1st bad gut feeling I ignored. I'd only ever had air abrasion, but he was going to do the traditional cavity filling, which I didn't realize. He shot me up, it hurt, I kept crying, he laughed me off and said it was no big deal, as did his fantastic assistant. Then they went across the way to treat someone else and left me for a really long time just crying by myself. Nice. I kept wanting to run out of there, but had never just left in the middle of a dr. appt so I felt too odd about it. He finished it, long story short, it kept hurting where he filled it, I couldn't chew on that side for a while. Had to get the cavity re-done by my previous awesome dentist, 2x the price. I was a couple milimeters from needing a root canal, yikes. Bottom line, this guy is a jerk. And they don't even live up to the website promises of getting 'personal attention' and 'not having to wait a long time when you have an appt.' More like, we'll leave you even if you're terrified, to go treat other people because we do book lots of people at the same time. *shudders* read more

I've seen Dr Pyser since 2005. I worked nearby and they always got me the 1st appt in the morning & out before I was late for work. He has filled a few cavities of mine & only recommends removing an old silver filling when he's already working on something else in that same quadrant of my mouth. This keeps cost down & is much more convenient than coming in to remove old fillings just because of the worry of mercury in them. The staff has always been professional & pleasant. Now I live in Miami, but I continue to drive up because I haven't found a trustworthy dentist in Miami like Dr. Pyser. read more

I have always hated the dentist, it is a huge fear of mine. Recently I had the worst toothache of my life and Saturday morning I called perfect smiles and by Saturday afternoon I was in the chair being examined. They are so friendly and accommadting. Turned out I needed a root canal. I scheduled my appointment and returned the following week. Having extreme anxiety over the whole thing Rafael and Dr. A (the owner) made me feel very comfortable and put up with all my questions and fears. And I have to be honest the scariest part for me was the needle they would be using to numb me. Dr. A promised I would not feel a thing and I of course did not believe him. But I really never even felt a pinch which was extremely relieving. Dr. A and his team have really helped to calm my dental anxiety and I would recommend Perfect Smiles to anyone, especially if you have a fear of the dentist. I am so grateful for this office and for what they did for me today, years ago I went to a office because as a single mom it was all I could afford that seemed dirty not in a great area amd Seemed sketchy , and I not only felt the pain from the dr drilling into my gums they completely messed up my teeth and that was now my second bad experience with a dental office, perfect smile changed how I felt and I am so glad I went to their office today. They are very clean , professional and take their time with you. I cried the whole way there but I needed to be seen, was a mess in waiting room and after getting called back I was treated with the upmost care, Dr. Ravi was sweet , kindhearted and professional, Samantha the assistant held my hand and walked me through everything, Anna at the desk at check out was vey sweet, and went over the dental plan and took her time, there was no rushing. They truly care about the patient not your money. I will always go back to them now as well as my mother who is going Monday.
