Great experience hiring MCS for a new water softener installation…read more I live in Yorba Linda and had been given the name of a company that was an authorized installer of Puronics systems in the area. That company came out, didn't provide any literature and verbally explained what they offered and quoted some ridiculously high prices. Then I was driving home one day and saw a service truck for MCS in my neighborhood that had graphics on it that said they installed Puronics systems. I spoke to that technician and he came over to look at my existing worn out system. He had literature explaining all their offerings and quoted prices that were much lower than the other authorized installer had offered. He gave me the quote on a Friday and three days later on Monday, they finished the installation in about 3 hours. The completed installation looked very professional. In setting up and testing the system, the installer (Jun) fine tuned the settings for the hardness of the incoming city water, the number of people in the household, the system regeneration timing (# of days), etc. while continuing to check the outgoing Puronics water for the correct softness (with a chemical test) after each adjustment. He then explained to me the functions and operation of the control panel. In summary, I'm very satisfied with MCS Water Technology for their pricing, installation and quality of technicians. My lesson learned is to check if there are other authorized installers in neighboring areas for an item you're shopping for. In my case, I found a gem of a company in MCS that was just a few miles away in Rowland Heights.

The flooring is peeling throughout the house, including at the edge of our stairs, which is both disappointing and concerning. When I noticed the damage, I searched online and saw that the same product, Los Angeles Collection, Hancock Park was still listed on their website. I called ahead to confirm availability, and the sales associate told me they had 100 pieces in stock. Based on that, I went into the store and purchased two pieces. After the purchase, I was told the product wasn't in that warehouse and I would need to wait 30 minutes while they checked another location. Thirty minutes later, I was then told the item was discontinued and no longer available anywhere. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since the product is still listed on their website and still shows as in stock in their system, which is how I was able to purchase it in the first place. Even the sales associate was unaware it had been discontinued. Long story short: the product quality is poor, and even more troubling is the lack of organization, communication, and accuracy in their inventory and business practices. This was a huge investment for our home, and the experience has been nothing but disappointing. I would strongly recommend staying far away. There are far better alternatives out there. Emporium carries it! I find that this brand makes the best quality of sago so I'll always come back here when I run out.
