He suggested I check the fuses so found out through my mechanic that the fuse to operate FOBs & operate the alternator was missing. Great job! We worked out details and the technician was at my house with 15 minutes of us discussing the job. He wore a mask, which I appreciated and he got right to work. It was clear he had lots of experience and knew what he was doing. The problem was not an easy fix (something broke inside the cylinder) and he was in and out of the hot weather until the problem was identified and repaired.
