like so much around here this store is a throwback to a simpler age. before the big blue and orange…read moreboxes over ran the countryside the jumbo-ace was the place for pretty much anything except dinner; a larger version of the local hardware store where you could find housewares, patio furniture, work and leisure clothes and stuff for to enjoying the great outdoors... this is a fine example of the big old store carrying Ace brands as well as national names across all product lines. the store is well lit and organized, and I think the shoes and clothes area was recently redone for ease of access. depending on what you need the local hardware might set you back a nickel but it's nice to have the option of not spending ten dollars and twenty minutes driving across town or buying hardware or plumbing and lighting fixtures online. really, in the long run this is totally cost effective.
