I bought a high quality computer video game there for a great price. Essentially, they share many similarities with Big Lots. They appear to get much of their inventory from "buyouts", meaning they pass savings on to the customers by getting things from stores going out of business or auctions. There's a little bit of everything in the store. They have a couple grocery aisles. Home improvement, hardware, books, garden supply, clothes, floor covering (lots of rugs, laminate) and some furniture. In the back, there's a free pot of coffee for customers. I usually order through Home Depot for my landscaping business and after this experience will never…read moreschedule deliveries through Lowe's again. I had a pallet of mortar delivered to a job site in lake lure. The driver backed into the fence causing significant damage and drive away. After calling Lowe's I was passed on to the contractor they use for deliveries to file a claim (RXO). They then passed me on to the subcontractor they use. It's been a month now and I am being ghosted by RXO (can't even leave a voicemail because their mailbox is full) and every time I call the delivery department at Lowe's someone clearly just picks up the phone and hangs it up. As icing on the cake, the pallet was soaking wet and half the bags were compromised and not usable. I have paid the $1,300 out of pocket to repair the fence and will be forced to take legal action if this does not get resolved.

pdated review: After 3 months, still no response from this…read morebusiness and the "new" dryer I bought also needs repairs. Stay far, far away from this place! The "new" oven I bought is not eligible for the whirlpool warranty as it was first registered in 2013!! I have reported them to the NCDOJ consumer protection division. Previous review: I wanted so badly to give them a good review, because they advertise being veteran owned. But I was treated like the scum of the earth when they were unable to deliver my appliances for 2 weeks, and the "new" range I bought the oven didn't work. They did refund my delivery fee, after I had to rent a trailer to go pick up the appliances. I had to unload them and get them in the house on my own, which is why I wanted the delivery in the first place. The salesman plugged in the appliances when I was there, and it all seemed fine. When I tried to use the oven, it came on but would not get to temperature after an hour. I was told I probably just didn't know how to use it, and that even if I brought it back it would be weeks before they could fix it and they didn't have a different one they could replace it with. Plus, I'd have to bring it to them for them to do anything about it, which is fine, but don't treat me like a criminal for trying to get it resolved. If you have time to wait for delivery or have a way to pick them up, then I guess it's okay. But I definitely don't have $500 to spend on a range that doesn't work. I wish I'd just spent the extra on a big box store. At least I wouldn't have been treated this way. Unfortunately, they are not registered as a veteran owned business, which carries a standard of care for its customers, and ethical practices. The reason they state no refunds is because they do not stand behind the products they sell, but they will take your money whether they work or not. Lesson learned. I will try to get it resolved as best I can, and hope they do the right thing in the end.
