Had really bad experience with them: charged me extra *after* I accepted and fully paid their quote and refused to fix the situation. I have been using them for car and renters insurance for a few years. They started getting the price for the insurance up (even though I had 0 accidents so perfect record), and last time - a month after I renewed the car insurance, charged me first extra $47 because they realized that I had not renewed renters before (which was actually before their quote!) and then a month later $33 more because I changed my address (moved to a neighboring town). No matter how much I complained, the agent did nothing to change the situation. Providing a quote and then - after the customer accepts and pays - finding more ways to charge to something extra without customer consent is is bad. read more

I have been with this agency since 2009. Never had a problem and anytime I need to call Brian he is always available and able to help me out right away. The real test for your insurance company is, how they help you when you have a claim. My wife recently crashed our car and neither of us have ever gone through an insurance claim. He guided me every step of the way, filing the claim, connecting me with the adjuster, where to go for the estimate and also helpful information about the rental car. First after the incident I immediately call my Agent Brian Case and after asking if everyone is fine Brian just told me " I'm going to kick of and start the procedure for you Mario and you are going to be receiving a call soon after that I'm always available at any time to guide you thru and give my support. ( Always speaking to me with a big smile ) After a couple of Hrs. I received a call from your services very friendly person collecting more details info and we moved on to Mr. Chad Winder, Mr. Winder returned my message promptly provided me with all the information and next day went to see the car and call me back immediately with more info and what is going to be next step.... also gave me the contact of Mrs. Devon Nixon to follow up with total loss. Mr. Chad always very professional, politely and friendly! Mrs. Nixon promptly receive my call and returned many times with explanations .. follow up.. friendliness just awesome! After decision was taken (1 day) I received the verbal info and one email as agree with all needed paper work and detailed personalized explanations. I easily follow it and 2 days after Mrs. Nixon came back to me with a very friendly email and also informing about payment on the way. Over all this 3 Team Members and all others on "back office " made my Farmers Experience simply the best and I'm proud of sharing this with all my friends and coworkers and happy of my choice to have Farmers and this great Team as my insurance partner / provider. By the way my business and personal insurances are covered by Farmers and associated companies we spend a few couple thousand Dollars monthly but after this experience we know that we can count on you if the problem comes and your Team will for sure make it again easy and great to the customer. I have been very disappointed with Farmer's Insurance. I contacted my agent Brian Case as the claims department was not contacting me back after multiple phone calls/voicemails. My agent was Collette Peterson, I suggest if you hear her name, you RUN! She was horrible, I tried contacting multiple times, when I finally did get a call back she threatened to hang up on me. She never got in contact with the other parties insurance (other party was at fault) and it took her over a month to finally ask for my statement. I contacted the other parties insurance on my own, sent them all the documentation, gave them a statement and am now finally being reimbursed. No help to either Brian Case or Collette Peterson. Horrible customer service, and I will be switching from Farmers ASAP. I don't recommend sending your worst enemy to be insured here! read more
