We got a new one, all of a sudden, who said we were going to have a reduction, because the car's interior was in poor condition. It was a work car, for customers to drive with us in. It was immaculate. The soil was because the tow people stuck the torn of fenders and bumper parts inside the car back seat! So we got it esclated. Then Liberty "discovered" not only that the car had been undervalued but that we had a special coverage which required them to comp us for a car one year newer (same make and model), with about half as many miles as we actually had! So we ended up with an extra $4400. But we had to fight and fight and fight. A home hail damage claim, from last winter 2018... a year ago. Took two dozen phone calls, and similar number of long emails, escalation to a manager. A nearly endless battle. Finally got the check yesterday, got an email at 9:32 PM, asking me to do something about the check. AWFUL CLAIMS SERVICE. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT THEM FOR EVERYTHING.

I called the agents office multiple times and could never get through to anyone. After emailing, the agent finally reached out to me via text confirming my phone number. He stated that someone would be calling me about the issue. However I never received a call. The following day, I reached out to the agent again via text and email and never received a follow up. I'm still waiting. In the meantime, I'm going to start looking for another real estate company for all of my policies.

Word of Caution - Avoid Allstate, you are not in good hands…read more TLDR: Biscoe Insurance finally returned my call after posting my initial reviews during the process and said "We don't know if we can change anything since we don't write the claims, but we will try". I then never heard back from them... Full Post: We had that hailstorm back in September, which damaged my roof with wind, knocked down a major tree, cracked a concrete slab I had in half, and even destroyed my fence. I filed a claim, and they sent out an inspector who showed up at sunrise, took photos, and left. I was declined because my roof was "new" and "had no damage". I called Allstate and got on my roof. After a brief talk, the adjuster said, "Well, I just haven't looked at the photos that closely, but the roof seems old and it's probably wear and tear. They said that we could send someone else to reinspect the house, and we'll give it another look, and that this person could even write the claim on site. After this call, I didn't hear anything for over a week, then I received a letter in the mail saying that I was declined. Furthermore, they included an estimate of the damage that occurred around the property, and it totaled under $1,000, including a massive downed tree that they said cost $194 to cut up and dispose of. When I called them back, they said that they had had a meeting with their managers and decided to decline me without a second look. I sent in the photos taken by not only my roofer but also the public adjuster, which circled and detailed hail and wind damage. This phone call led to another come-to-Jesus moment on my roof again, and they then agreed to send out a second inspector. The second inspector was supposed to come out and do an inspection with a local public adjuster I had met with and my roofing contractor. However, the second inspector showed up four hours early and did the inspection with no one else. Allstate received this second inspection and denied my claim again. We are now 3-4 months from when the storm came through, and Allstate is saying that the damage we are seeing is now just wear and tear... when before they said there was no damage because my roof was "new". They lied to me, sent unrealistic estimates of damages, and were impossible to get in touch within a timely manner. The local Allstate company never wanted to answer the phone or respond with updates on my claim. I was completely alone in my process against the local and national Allstate branches. They refused to quote damages at market rates, and I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs and then submit the receipts. I had a concrete pad that I was about to build on. It was cracked in half from the tree falling. They declined to repair the slab damage because the "structure" didn't have walls yet. They are declining all claims because we have had a string of major storms come through. When presented with photos from someone outside their "inspectors", they said that the damages shown were wear and tear when clearly it's hail damage. AVOID ALLSTATE... you are not in good hands. They are liars.
