I requested a quote from a different Nationwide broker and got a better quote. Nationwide is Nationwide, the policy quote from different brokers should be fairly the same. I called Bonita back and explained what I had discovered. Initially she gave me some push back about researching for a better quote. After a little back and forward, Bonita presented an insurance quote that made us happy. Bonita's wiliness to spend a few hours working directly to improve my mother's policy has clarified why my mother has stayed with Nationwide for so many years. The lady I was speaking with told me that the letters they sent out are basically flyers to get people to call in but that those prices are not actually valid and that the actual prices are revealed once they go through their system on the phone. Pretty blatant case of false advertising. I need an insurance provider that has my back, not one trying to manipulate potential customers into calling in with false claims. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
