As for many people we don't really know too about Health/ Medical Insurance people tend to ask a lot questions. I was that person, I had Medicare Part A and Part B. I recently lost my Medicare insurance coverage on June 1st, 2018. I am a post heart transplant patient of Houston Methodist Hospital, so my medications are very important. I had to contact my transplant coordinator at Houston Methodist Hospital. He then told me to contact a lady at Houston Methodist financial adviser. Then she advise me to contact ABM insurance and to ask for Crystal. About the second week of June 2018 I contact ABM and talked to Ms Crystal. Crystal really took her time to explain the whole process, and it has to be done right with no mistakes. Crystal explained to me that Houston Methodist will not accept just any health care plans, Houston Methodist only takes Community Health Choice as there provider. Once Crystal then sent me 5 different Community Health Choice plans. Of course it was all greek to me. Crystal took the time to explain every single thing in detail. Crystal also explain about the Tax credit as well, which really help me a lot in my monthly rate. Basically Crystal is great Thank you.

We'be been good customers until we sold our home and had a seizable refund coming. For some reason that's when they decided to dodge all followup calls from us and anytime I spoke to an office person (Devin) I was lied to. It's been several weeks now and I called to demand an overnight check or direct deposit and was told oh, it's in the refund department. So, for weeks we've been lied to that the check was mailed long before and telling us the call every few days and check our mailbox everyday. I told the office (Devin) I would come pick it up and asked the address to pick it up. Apparently, giving and address is a very difficult task for them. When I finally got the correct office address I see it's my agents office! Seriously. It's one large room where everyone can see each other. No need to send messages or lie about someone in meetings all day. They're all sitting in one room looking at each other. We were going to use them for our new home being built but I wouldn't use them to insure a doghouse.

Customer service was okay. But, overall the process was a bit disconcerting. They are a producer…read morefor FedNat...a relatively cheap insurance company. Everything starts out with great rates. However, they didn't base their rate on the actual property. When they did inspect the property, they inspected the wrong one and sent a cancellation notice. Additionally, the inspector noted changes that would increase the premium for the policy. I never ascertained if those changes were on my property or the wrong property...I simply went about cancelling with Knight Insurance. I changed because I was sent a cancellation notice...for a property that I didn't own. I was cancelled until cured. This is not a normal process. The process generally entails a cure before cancellation. FYI...I went with Allstate. They are a bit higher but seem to me to be more capable.

The next morning, they immediately arrange a rental car for me for the duration of 20 days. After 18 days, I asked for a possible extension. They agreed immediately for a 5 days extension. During all the process, everything ran smoothly. Within 25 days, I received the claim reimbursement. Mr Robert had been super helpful. He gave me guidance to walk through the process. Now, I know that's not far. But there are times that I like to drive to my agent rather than talking to them on the phone. That 10 mile drive would at times take me over 30 minutes. So I began looking for another agent that was nearby (there literally seem to be State Farm agents on every corner around here). I visited Randy's office several times and was impressed by the time that he spent with me and the answers he provided to questions I had. Based on those encounters, we recently switched all of our policies to Randy for him to handle (multiple auto, homeowners, umbrella and life). Transition was smooth. I've been in to see Randy and his staff several times since he's been our agent. I've also called his office to add a car to our policy, which was done quickly and with little effort. A temporary insurance card for that vehicle was promptly emailed to us so I didn't necessarily have to drive in (although I could have easily). So far, both my husband and I are pleased with the service we've received from Randy. He's close, he's attentive to our needs and every time that I've wanted to talk to Randy personally, he has always been available (either on the phone or in person).
