If I needed gas, snacks, or fresh produce and I was close to Farmer's Market, I would stop in.

Vegetables and unique salads and delicious food are on the refrigerated shelves. The aisles are loaded with special flours, spices and honey. The hand crafted chairs and benches are amazing. While exploring the area, we stopped into this Amish-run general store and immediately fell in love with its charm and personality. This isn't one of those big-box stores where everything feels the same. Instead, it's the kind of place where you can wander the aisles and discover something new around every corner. They carry a little bit of everything, from baking supplies and snacks to fresh produce, candies, Amish crafts, and homemade goods. One of the highlights of our visit was watching an Amish girl making fresh chocolate fudge. It's not every day you get to see treats being made right before your eyes, and it added to the store's authentic country feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We ended up taking home some beautiful fresh tomatoes, a homemade cheese ball, and some fresh-made pickles. Everything looked fresh and delicious, and we couldn't resist bringing a few goodies home. Outside, they even have a selection of T-Rex poly furniture for sale, which caught my attention as we were leaving. It's just another example of the variety of items you'll find here. What I loved most about JR's Country Store is that it feels like more than just a place to shop. It's an experience. It's the kind of store where you can slow down, browse, chat with friendly people, and appreciate the craftsmanship and quality that seem harder to find these days. If you're visiting Bainbridge or just passing through Amish country, make sure to stop in. You might come for a few groceries, but you'll leave with a bag full of goodies and a smile on your face.

They sell well crafted beautiful furniture! So many items such as kitchen tables, mirrors, clocks, bird feeders, rocking chairs and much more. The outdoor seats, tables and rockers are also nice! Some of my favorite bakery items include cream horns, cream filled donuts with chocolate icing, apple fritters and much more! They sell tons of donuts, cakes, pies and cookies. The grocery store sells the best homemade cheese balls. You can typically sample at least one. There's also, candy, spices and so much more. There is a deli and soft serve ice cream. On this trip, I ordered a ham sandwhich with spicy cheese, jalapeno mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions and homemade pickles on white bread. This sandwich was so big it was hard to even hold it lol. I ate half and took the rest home. We got lucky and found seating out front in the shade. There is nothing I don't love about Miller's! I highly suggest you check them out.

The service was friendly and professional. I'm glad they weren't cash only. The furniture building was magnificent and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to make it for a pretzel before they closed and it was so delicious. Light, fluffy and buttery. They were perfect. Overall, I definitely recommend taking a trip over if you're in Ohio.

We always start at the country store which has an amazing deli. They have seating inside and some outside for eating. On this trip I ordered the ham and cheese with all the fixings. Their sandwiches are very reasonable and huge. I can only eat half the sandwich and I take the rest home. I also ordered pasta salad as a side which was tangy and delicious. My mom loves their chicken salad and macaroni salad. The store also has many homemade items such as an amazing cheese ball, plus an assortment of candy, jelly, applebutter and many of food items. It's always a good idea to visit the furniture store. I've been inside several times and have found some cool items such as Christian birthday cards. You never know what you might find. The furniture is beautifully crafted but a little pricey for me. Plus I have no way to get it back to Florida lol! Once we're done eating we head to the bakery. This is one of my favorite spots at Miller's. You can find a variety of donuts, pies, cakes and other sweets. On this trip I purchased glazed donuts, peanut butter cookies, a cream horn, and two long John donuts. My favorite long John has chocolate icing and white cream filling. The sign is hard to see from the main road so I suggest using your GPS. But if you have never been to Miller's I highly recommend you check them out. But don't go too hungry lol.

It is quite impressive and they do have a lot to choose from. I really enjoyed seeing how they've converted "junk" into beautiful pieces as well. Everyone wanted sweet treats so we headed on into the bakery. There were so many items to choose from. I love the hand pies, flaky crust with plenty of filling. Somehow I didn't take a picture of the coconut dessert I got but it was one of the most delicious pastries I've ever had. Sweet and rich, so good. It kind of feels like you can't choose wrong here, it's really just a matter of what you're in the mood for. If you like sweets you should come try them.
