Then when we insisted again that we were good and would not be dependent on their financing... she went and got the sales manager, Victoria, who did the same thing. I kept saying how weird this was, and that we just wanted to look at a range of campers that fit our preferences, she told us that we were the ones that made it weird. However, I must give this Camping World location a solid five-star rating based on my experience with them earlier this month. I began having issues with the 12-volt battery on our RV and knew it needed to be replaced. We were traveling South on Interstate 75 and near our destination for the night with a few hours before check-in time. Since Camping World had easy access and parking at the Lake Park, GA exit, I decided to stop and check on a new battery. Not expecting much, I was surprised when I walked in and was greeted at the door and then again at the service counter. The gentleman who assisted me knew what he was doing and was very helpful. He walked out to the parking lot, verified the type and size of battery I needed, and even offered to loan me tools to replace it. He brought the new battery out in a shopping cart to my RV and told me to return once I had it installed to bring the old battery in to avoid the Core charge. When I checked out, he noticed my Good Sam Membership was due to expire soon and offered to add it to my order. I checked out and we were in and out in very quick order. I wish all Camping World locations had this level of customer service.

On this date I was in this particular store and was greeted briefly by a sales associate as I browsed running shoes. Did she ever ask if I needed any assistance? No. The ladies shoes happen to be located by the check out and I did happen to pick out 3 pair that I was interested in trying on (I normally purchase 2 pair at a time). Was I ever assisted? No. Was the store busy? Hardly! There were 2 young men associates that were behind the counter talking who were greeted by the first young lady that greeted me and another young lady. As I stood there for about 15 minutes with two different shoes in my hands waiting I was never assisted. I'm not sure how well it pot this store does in sales since it is located in a mall but it has horrible customer service. If I would have purchased even two of the shoes I had looked at, you store would've made at a minimum of $250 in sales. My sons was both wanting to purchase new socks and a book bag. So this store lost more than $300 in sales. Shame on your management choice for this store are obviously they do not monitor their associates enough to provide a better shopping experience. There is a hibbett sports located in my town and even though they usually do not have a great selection or have in the sizes I need I'd much rather order and wait than drive to the Valdosta location.
