The job included new windows and a door (complete with doggy door for the pups), new siding, interior finishes, new tile plank flooring, electrical, concrete work, and a mini-split for heating and cooling. Everyone who sees it says the same thing - it looks like it's been there all along. They matched the existing house exactly, and everything has been top quality materials and installation. Kyle is something of a perfectionist, and he wouldn't accept anything less. I've worked with GC's in the past who talked a good game, promised the stars, and then disappeared in the dust they left behind. Kyle was on site at every critical stage, he stayed on top of his work crews insisting on professionalism and perfection, and he bird-dogged the project until the last screw was in place and the last touch-up of paint was complete. He's likely not the cheapest renovation contractor around, but I have complete confidence in his work, his workmanship, and his word. Whatever she comes up next, I assure you that Kyle will be my first call to help make her dream a reality.

I was supposed to have a consultation appointment with this company at 11:00 am. However, it…read morewasn't until I contacted their call center and left a message for Ashley to call me back that I found out the technician who was supposed to be doing the consultation wasn't coming for the appointment due to illness. Nevertheless, it took me calling the call center and leaving several messages to find out the appointment wasn't going to happen. When I did finally get a call back from an agent at 11:08, she wasn't sure why the technician hadn't shown up but said she find out and let me know. Yet again, it wasn't until I called back at 11:15, that I found the technician wasn't going to show up due illness. Ashley, who I left a message for initially never bothered to call me back and I was met with nothing but excuses and half-hearted apologies when I did finally speak to representative. My time was totally wasted and their lack of communication and concern is serious problem for me. It definitely makes me hesitant to do business with them in the future.

The Home Depot Valdosta is by far the rudest group of individuals that I have encountered in this…read morepart of the world.. Today was the 3rd visit to the store over the last 3 years each visit reaffirming my belief that they really don't want my business. After the last visit I decided to avoid the store but sometimes they are the only store for 100 miles that has the product I need and today I needed tan polymeric sand. I enter store near masonry supplies but can't find it anywhere. Associate #1 doesn't know where it is so pages someone. 5 minutes later Associate #2 arrives and asks what I am looking for. I told him and he asks why I wasn't looking in the paint department. I said cause polymeric sand in not normally with paint. #2 says "I was talking to him". I go down to paint where there is no polymeric sand then go to the open customer service window. After about 30 seconds of being ignored by the three people huddled around a computer, one finally acknowledged my presence and tried to help. I told them Associate #2 said it was in Paint. She said he probably thought I said polyurethane. They did help me, I got my sand from the garden section then I went to checkout; no open registers. Over to the self-checkout register where it never asks if I am a veteran. I was so pissed by now that I spotted them the $10 just to get out of the store. Maybe they just don't like people with masks, I don't know, but I do know rude when I see it, and the Home Depot Valdosta is the real deal.

My attempts to reach the store were met with unanswered calls, or if I did get through, there was no follow-up. In desperation, I resorted to contacting the vendor for updates on my order. When the doors finally arrived at the store, they were left unprotected. Upon inspection, one door was damaged. I'm unsure if the damage was caused by shipping or store handling. My contractor assured me that he could repair or install the door, so I accepted the damaged doors with a credit in place or reordering. This entire ordeal was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. As a large retailer, Home Depot should have the resources and support to handle such issues efficiently. However, the Valdosta store failed to provide any real assistance. Overall, this experience has been a complete disappointment. I strongly advise against placing special orders through Home Depot in Valdosta. You'll likely have a much better experience working directly with the vendor.
