Farmfoods is my latest discovery, and its better than any made by Christopher Columbus, partly because he didn't ever discover anything.
Basically they're frozen food specialists. The main thing they're interested in is frozen foods. However, its not all they do, and its basically like a supermarket. Its in the Iceland league I suppose, though its considerably better.
The prices are an absolute joke. Literally unbelievable. If you want to cook a big meal for a huge number of people, this is THE place to go. Lets just say, for the sake of proving a point, that you wanted to make a roast dinner for 10. You could use the following:
Whole leg chicken (a ridiculous 1.75kg) = £3.50
A whole kilo of baby carrots = £1
18 Yorkshire puddings = £1
750g of cauliflower = £1
800g of goose fat roast potatoes = £1
That's an unbelievable roast, for £7.50. Less than the price of 1 roast dinner in a pub.
