I only bought a single book instead of the originally planned two since I'm in a tight budget. Absolutely love the new space now and much easier parking. There is also a coffee shop and some seating inside, which I did not partake in on this visit but it's a nice added touch! I also sold some books/media here and the process felt a bit unorganized, but I got a decent amount of cash for my items. Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. They also give both a cash option and a store credit option, with the store credit amount being slightly higher. Overall a nice feature in a great shop!

Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). Kids have their own little table and chairs where they can sit and do crafts. There's also local artists selling work in one corner, and you can buy a drink and a snack. It's fun to just walk around and look for interesting old books. I found a jazz standard song book for two dollars. There are beautiful art and craft made from old books. They also sell vinal, DVD, music CD. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is full on Saturdays because so many people spend their afternoon here, relaxing with a book. Educators get 10% off on Saturdays, which was a very kind gesture. Books are the best educational tool, whether they are new or old. This bookstore is truly unique, and I love it!

The prices seems to be either comparative or cheaper than the other places, but that's hard to judge considering the nominal number of books I, as one person, have had an opportunity to price there. Aside from the text books, they usually have a small, but choice, selection of used novels and non-fiction books on hand. These are very cheap compared to cover price, and if you go at the right time you can find some really interesting things for a steal. They also carry used music CDs, stationary, and other odds and ends for college students. Overall, a great place that is much more rewarding to support with my hard earned loan money than the bigger, more coporate alternatives.

When I first walked in I wasn't even sure where to begin but it was great to be able to browse and see their extensive collection. Staff is very friendly and let us know that they curate their books from donations. If you donate your books to them, they create an account where you can have a credit on file to use. As someone, that occasionally does donate books, this is fantastic news! Additionally, all of their books unless otherwise stated are half off the cover value which is incredible and affordable! They definitely had something for everyone there. I look forward to visiting them again, hopefully with some books to give them!

You're not only decluttering your house, but you're helping out a small local business. With every book you bring in, you receive credit toward future purchases. I already have more credit than I'll probably ever use, but I'm happy that my previously read books are going to a good home. The store has a pretty decent used book selection with floor-to-ceiling shelving (and also some graphic novels, CDs, and DVDs). It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? They're half off the cover price. How does the credit work? You get an additional half off the half-off price. So if a book has a cover price of $8, the store sells the book for $4. I can use my credit balance for an additional $2 off (half of the $4), leaving the book at a total of $2. There are also some $1 books on a rack outside the store. Everyone working there is always super friendly and helpful.
