New kid on the block! Since this is close to my work, I decided to come here for a quick lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised. Great options (though not very cheap) as well as healthy and locally sourced ingredients is always appreciated. I can definitely see Farmstand becoming popular and hopefully the menu will keep changing seasonally. *CHECK-IN* offer is amaze. Either few Brits use yelp (let alone check in) to justify the cost of the free coffee/tea or they're being generous. Either way, it brings people in and for me, it was perfect because I was staying across the street. I just walked over, checked in on the complementary wifi & redeemed my free coffee or tea. Not a bad perk for being a yelper. For the coffee option, you could also choose a latte or espresso. I probably came in 3x for this check-in offer. Twice, I purchased other items, but for the last visit, I just showed them the offer and they handed me my complementary latte. I tried the butternut squash soup, which was pretty satisfying. And the other time, I had the plain yogurt with granola. This was just okay. Don't think I would purchase yogurt anywhere other than a grocery store. I grabbed it from the fridge, so I'm not sure how long it was sitting there. It seemed this place cares about non-GMO & sustainably grown food while using local suppliers for ingredients. They also offered grass-fed meats with their meal. I also liked how they offered free still & sparkling water from a filter. On their site, they didn't offer bottled water to reduce the environmental effects of producing plastic. I respect that. I carry a reusable glass water bottle with me. I definitely support what this company stands for. And if I ever came back to the UK, I would be back even without the check-in offer ;) read more

A solid portion of their menu is vegan as well, which my friend and I really appreciated. We got the apple and ginger compote coconut porridge and the berry compote and granola porridge. Both were good, especially for the cheap cheap price of £2.75. And not too sweet!! We also got the latte and English breakfast tea. Both were nice, obviously not a place that specializes in coffee but the atmosphere and porridge make up for it complete. The flavors were muted as spices/seasoning could really be dialed up. But the textures were good and everything tasted fresh. Second poached egg I've had in London which was overcooked - inside it was almost hard-boiled! Now I'm thinking that's how they cook a poached egg here. BEAUTIFUL. I had the salmon hot box with quinoa and beetroot as some chilli broccoli. Delicious. The staff are super friendly and let you taste things before making a full decision on what you want. I'm not a fan of spice and they gave me a sample of the chilli broccoli. Not that spivey at all. Perfect. Healthy, environmentally-conscious, friendly staff, great for takeaway, ambience a little awkward for eating in, fairly priced. This restaurant newly opened, and I love the awareness it brings to the neighborhood regarding healthy eating, environmental impact and local sourcing. It's a thoughtfully put together place and lets you bring mindfulness to takeaway. The staff are quite friendly and helpful in explaining what to pick out for the meal box. There are fridges with some food options, as well as the box option where you pick out three dishes (hot and/or cold). Food tastes good and is of nice, fresh quality, in-season vegetables, creative recipes. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fava salad - interesting flavors but the fava brand themselves were undercooked / a bit chewy rather than soft. Otherwise I really liked the warm glazed carrots with cinnamon and the mushroom / lentil dish. Have also has the ginger coconut water (refreshing) and the carrot-nut muffin (tasty, if not amazingly exciting or creative flavors as the rest of the menu). I've sat in twice, once for an afternoon juice & muffin in the back room, once for a dinner meal at the tables in the front. While I like the aesthetic of the walls and lighting, there's something a bit awkward / maybe cold about the vibe. Could be that the stools / high table in the backroom are too high, or the tables in the front room are directly behind the refrigerator. Something a little off putting, which makes it definitely feel takeaway. It's pretty fairly priced for the quality food they provide - was £7.50 for a dinner meal, sit down. They don't do student discounts but have a loyalty card. Oh also, almost entirely gluten free! Fantastically tasty veggie food (with meat and fish options) in Covent Garden. The veggie options really impressed me: from roasted Jerusalem artichokes with capers and parsley to raw romanesco cauliflower and mustard seed salad to charred broccoli with chilli and garlic to quinoa and bean options. So much yummy options. The boxes are generously filled as well. I got one box for dinner and another for lunch the next day. When I said I was expecting something warm they just apathetically shrugged their shoulders. I tried to order another meal - a warm vegan Mac and cheese - and they were out. Very annoying. Another great GF and DF option resto in London! My parents and I found this quaint little spot while walking around Covent Garden. We were there around 11am so we enjoyed the GF pastries and DF drink options (turmeric latte, capuccino, regular latte). They were all very tasty. My mom also had an avo toast (not GF) and my dad had "regular" milk - which means there was something for everyone. Wish we could have made it back for lunch - looked amazing. I love Farmstand! Everything is gluten free and you can get delicious sweet treats to go with their amazing coffee with sugar alternatives so 100% guilt free too! Coffee is delicious especially with oat milk! The milk chocolate bar is a perfect pick me up and you have to try the chocolate brownie-it's amazing! The fruit and nut muffin with coffee for £3.50 is incredible! The main food is delicious and very tasty. They have a great choice of hot or cold mains served with two sides for £7.50. The potions are not massive but that is good in my option as you leave feeling satisfied and that you have been good to your body and if it's the right food my body doesn't want/need more! I don't really know what the hype is about. I came here for breakfast and I agree with some previous comments that the potion size is really small. The quality of the food is okay but nothing to write home about by any means. I got the breakfast box of eggs, chicken sausage, and roasted tomatoes. Eggs were average, chicken sausage was okay, and the roasted tomatoes were quite good. Luckily, I only paid 4.75 pounds. The organic filtered coffee was good and at 1 pound, you're hard pressed to find a better value. I wasn't particularly a fan of the relatively inpatient service. Wouldn't particularly recommend this place. There are a better options out there and you get more for you money in terms of quality and quantity. Oh and also, if you check-in to this place, Yelp will tell you that Farmstand will give you 1 free coffee or tea but this place doesn't honor that. read more

My friend and I popped in for an early breakfast. The food was good and the coffee was mediocre. The experience with the staff was pretty poor, rude and disgruntle. The portion was pretty shocking for myself and then another server plated my friends meal and it was double the size of mine, so I went back and asked for the same portion size as my friend and i begrudgingly was given it.
