I think a few summers ago the girl who worked there told me every fresh item they sold is from Maine except the potatoes, which were from PEI. I wish the maple syrup and canned items were a little more local to Wales, but at least they are from Maine. My niece loved seeing the goats and chickens. Their fresh corn on the cob is the best around.

Now that I'm in Randolph, it's only 25 minutes away. This is my new addiction, for sure! Downtown Winthrop is adorable on its own, so it's a joy to visit. The shop is everything! It has something for everyone. Vintage clothes, handcrafted items, local Maine gifts, a candy store, very carefully and thoughtfully curated collection of seasonal surprises around every corner, and there is so much to explore! Be prepared to spend a couple hours in here, easily! Prices were decent, very affordable. Especially considering every item had so much thought and love put into it. Serious! Every display was PERFECTION! It was definitely inspiring, and made me want to plan out an entire re-do on my home decor. Service here is top notch, we met the owners and they are very sweet. There is not too much to say about this location other than it can be a bit overwhelming with so…read moremuch stuff down each aisle. Sometimes it feels like a mad dash as people are trying to get their supplies and they will cut right in front of you without excusing themselves. This is by no means the fault of the business, so I don't take stars off for a customer's observed behavior. Staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you wanted something they didn't have in stock, but they were able to find online. Sometimes a bit too long at the register as others are waiting to be helped. This one cashier kept pushing the customer to allow them to order the item she really wanted online and have it delivered to her home. She would say "I can wait, it's no problem", yet the cashier and Manager would not accept the answer. I get a sale is a sale, but you don't want to lose the guaranteed sales standing in your line either. That's my only complaint about this location.
