They say they did there job by saying they diagnosed the issue and provided a solution to fix the issue. Well its not hard to diagnose an issue when it is clearly snapped off in front of you. The solution they offered, "sry we cant fix this, please call and schedule an appointment, we wont be able to come back until the end of july, or you can hire someone else to replace the whole T-set if you need water sooner." Pine state had my water back in 10 minutes! Needless to say they are very unprofessional and rude. Heres my story below. Extremely Disappointing Experience I had an emergency plumbing issue and called this company after my T-joint broke. They arrived and spent about 15 minutes attempting to fix it, then stepped outside to take a 20-minute phone call. When they returned, they said they needed a tool that had been left in another company van back at their office. They came back roughly 40 minutes later, only to tell me they didn't have the correct fitting. The next morning, they returned, spent about five more minutes on the issue, and then told me they couldn't complete the repair because they had another job to get to. I was told I could either schedule an appointment for a month out or find another company to do the work. When I called to express my concerns, the front desk staff refused to offer a partial refund and still charged me $265 for what amounted to almost no service. Shockingly, during the call, the front desk woman made a highly inappropriate and offensive remark related to my son's passing something she must have looked up online. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this company there are plenty of reliable and respectful local alternatives. Not only that but then they had the audacity to respond and assume and accuse me of using my sons death as a means to save money. Also telling someone who lost someone let alone a child that its been 4 years since your loss!!!! Really. What are you saying? To get over it. Honestly this company is under poor management. You guys told me the price and I agreed to it yes, I told you financially I was struggling, asked to see if you had any discounts, and you said no. Most of the time spent was them driving back and forth and on the phone. I asked for partial payment back, not a full refund but couldn't even get that, just the manager telling me she google searched my name and said my son died 4 years ago and its not her problem? All I said was I was going through financial problems and still recovering from the loss of my son, greif is not something you get over in 4 years! The Hearth Doctor had one job: to install a fireplace. They failed at every turn…read more Preface- I'm sure the installer will deny this happened the way it did because they maintain they did a great job and went "above and beyond". This is simply not true and you can see from the photos how poor their work is. We are on the third home we've owned together. We've gutted homes, we've installed fireplaces, we've dealt with really hard situations. This is by far the worst install of any product by any company I have ever experienced. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We hired the Heart Doctor to install a Renaissance 600 fireplace which (by our standards) is pretty hefty, pricy, and kinda fancy. At every stage this install was botched. The company compromised my family's safety by not installing a radiation shield around the chimney pipe and told me I should stuff insulation directly up against the pipe- something the manufacturer expressly told us was a fire hazard. They denied this needed to be fixed until I contacted the fireplace manufacturer and they relented to fix it. This meant uninstalling the entire chimney which at that point was already bracketed into our house, two stories up. Since their fire safety was so lacking I had to request that they bring someone from Embers to supervise the final install. This job was quoted as taking 2 days- it took about 3.5 months. Hearth Doctor repeatedly told my contractor different information that lead to multiple delays. They mis-measured the height of the space needed to install the fireplace. And while they paid for the added work the contractor did, they continued to make tactical, logistical and communication errors that lead to repeated delays, mistakes, and sloppy work. After the contractor built a doghouse off of our home to house the fireplace, they had to rebuild the roof numerous times. Hearth Doctor claimed we didn't need certain vents which were essential to the function of the fireplace. The manufacturer verified we absolutely did. They installed the unit with a broken door and then when they promised to replace the door, just crudely bent the keyhole that allowed it to open. They have no attention to detail, no attention to aesthetics and absolutely no customer service. The final insult was when my contractor was measuring to do finishing work, he realized the whole unit is OFF-LEVEL front to back and side to side by 1/4" in each direction. This makes putting a wall over it almost impossible to look good. All in all they came to our six times between June and September- an absolute disaster. Throughout the process I never received any apologies or accountability from anyone at the company. Rob and Will brushed off my asking for a reduction on the final invoice by saying "Our goal has always been to provide you with a safe, functional, and professional installation, and we've done our best to stand behind our work--even when it meant going above and beyond what was originally contracted." If this is what "above and beyond" looks like then I must need my head readjusted. Happy to share photos to show you what the Hearth Doctor's best work looks like folks- it is just an abomination. This company is a danger to themselves and to others and I feel absolutely compelled to speak out about their work to save others from hiring them. At all costs look elsewhere.

I am new to the area, and needed repair for some machinery (MTD/Troy-bilt). So, I call MTD/Troy-bilt for a list of authorized service locations - I get information for Reggie's. I call Reggie's and explain my situation and what is needed. I am told to bring in my machine. At the store, there are clip boards hanging on the wall for various brands of machine, including my brand. Here is the trouble: the store will not file the paper work to get me my warranty service. I called ahead, I explained the situation when I dropped the machine. When I pick up the machine, no effort has been made by the store to file the claim, they will not even give me the proper documentation to file the claim myself. If you are from "away" and are bringing some machinery with you to your new life, STAY AWAY from Reggie's. Reggie's only want your repair business if you bought the machine from them.
