First visit review. I will update. Going to a periodontist means you have issues. Nobody enjoys this stuff. My long time dentist failed to send me to a specialist and so my mouth over the years got worse even under his constant care. When explaining what needs to be done to save some of my teeth Dr. Bashari was empathetic and really quite sweet. Trying to soften the blow for me. He was thorough in his exam and his treatment plan. Dr. Bashiri's office is terrific! The office is clean, professional and everything ran on time, even with a late afternoon procedure. Everything was explained to me in advance; I knew what my co-pay would be; I received timely reminders, and Katrina made sure I had the medications I needed available post-surgery. My surgery was not entirely painless, but I don't imagine that was possible in my case (very low pain tolerance and a very extensive procedure). The recovery so far has been uncomfortable but not intolerable. I especially appreciated Dr. Bashiri's bedside manner. He made sure I understood the procedure and was patient, professional and also a warm and caring person, even phoning to check up on me post-surgery. I want to like him because he is close to where I live but every time I visit he REEKS of cigarettes anytime he gets close to you. His hands permeate the smell through the Ives and into your mouth.... No bedside manner either. Very cold and uncaring especially to women it seems... 0/10 would not recommend. Side note: I do really adore the front desk lady, she was so professional. The dentist assistant was so sweet too and so helpful. But the dentist himself? Well he just has such a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke and I was trying to suppress my gag reflex the whole time. I'm sure he's a good dentist though if you like being treated like a robot and don't mind the smoke smell!! read more

First off, I had Braces in the 80s and I hate going to Dentist! I went twice in the last 30 years. Needless to say, I needed some work! Dr Bashiri took out 2 Wisdom Teeth and My top 4 Front Teeth, and a Deep Cleaning. He promised Me I would feel No Pain. The Man lived up to His Word!! 1 hour later We were done! As far as pain afterwards.... I was sore. 1 day later... I stopped taking Ibuprofen, no swelling and I can even drink Ice water with very little discomfort! It was first time going to Dr. Bashiri's office. I was referred by my dentist to see Dr. Bashiri. The office is a bit small and a small waiting room with a total of 6 chairs, I believe. Dr. Bashiri was nice and very informative about what needs to be done with my problem teeth. Also, Katrina, the receptionist, is very friendly and sweet. She made me feel right at home. We chatted a bit as she was pulling up my information and new patient paperwork that I had filled out online prior to my appointment. She gave me the breakdown of the pricing with my insurance coverage for the procedures that I have to get done. So, the rating of three stars is due to the fact, it was my first time there and I arrived 15 mins early before my appointment time and was standing in the waiting room for someone to assist me. I literally waited 10-12 minutes before someone acknowledged I was standing there waiting to be helped. However, I have another appointment scheduled with Dr. Bashiri and a couple more appointments to be schedule in the future. So we'll see how everything goes and by then, I'll update another review. read more
