Had this service for over two years and now questioning how many times they took our money without actually providing service. In May/June we called to find out what was going on with our grass that was now 70% brown. In one of the calls, the woman I spoke with says that some months ago, January, they were supposed to provide a critical seasonal TX but there was no record that they provided that second TX (records indicate they did however manage to get their Money). She says she will have someone contact us. Eventually, Donnie, who claimed to be a field manager, called and scheduled a time to come out. On his visit he tells us that he personally treats our Nextdoor neighbors house which looks great - WTH? he acted concerned about our problem and also noticed skipped treatments. So, all official, "we're gonna get this fixed, we're gonna 'credit' your account for three visits". if they didn't show, how is that a credit? A couple days later it was like they sent in the brigade, gonna really get this taken care of... Month and-a-half later, our grass continued to deteriorate and so we called. Same ole surprised voice, yeah they were supposed to.... So I told them I wanted to speak to a manager. Yeah, yeah, we'll pass the message along. Nothing. Called again, same response, same nothing. So I called a third time. This time I told them if I did not hear from a manager by Wednesday at noon, I was going with another company. Still nothing. So I scheduled another company. They came out three days later. On that day, 10 minutes before the new company was to show up, I get a call from someone claiming to be a manager at Farrow. Claims he never got the message, issues with staff, etc. I told him too late, we have someone showing up in 10 minutes. He says well can I touch bases with you after to see if you still want to go with them. I told him sure. Two days later I get that call, and tell him, I'm going with the other company, terminate all services. He says he will 'credit' our account $68 for the last service. CREDIT??? They didn't come out. how many times did they charge us without servicing. At this point we had to replace half our front yard with new sod $$, hire someone to do it $$$, and then water every day for at least a month! This company, clearly unable to provide proper service to (what was/is) its current customer base. Clearly no one watching employees to make sure they are doing what the customer is paying for, and clearly have not trained its staff how to make sure phone messages are passed on to the right person. Hundreds, if not thousands of $$$ lost to incompetence thanks to this company! read more

one star is too much for this company, they are unprofessional in the office and in the field, they were supposed to treat our lawn in 2 houses, they ruined the grass, we got more weeds than grass! it seems they are using cheap materials and weed killer. I wanted to reach out to express my deep disappointment with the condition of my lawn after using your service over the past six months. I had initially hoped that hiring a professional company would help jump-start the yard in early spring, but the results have been the opposite. Since starting with your service, my lawn has steadily deteriorated. It is now in significantly worse shape than when we began. The most recent application, done in the heat of the day, appears to have burned large areas of the grass, leaving lasting damage that now requires new sod to fix. Several of my neighbors have commented on the poor appearance of my lawn--some even asking what went wrong--and I've had to tell them I used a lawn service this season. I've since learned that a few of my neighbors, who also used your services, are equally unhappy with their results. I'm very frustrated and disappointed, and I'd like to understand what steps your company is willing to take to address this issue. The damage is severe enough that restoration will be costly and time-consuming. read more

The services, themselves, are OK. However, DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY! They have been billing me for services that have NOT been requested by me. Part of the problem is that we are not around for 3 1/2 months in the summer or I would have caught this sooner. read more

The Customer Service with Farrow Pest Services is extremely terrible. I fired Farrow only after being in agreement with Jeff because he didn't want to rectify the problem and I kept being lied to by the big guy named Jeff and the office staff. Farrow 's technicians killed my beautiful lawn and the weeds are rampant everywhere in my whole yard. My lawn was beautiful before I hired Farrow Pest Services. I filed a complaint with the (BBB) Better Business Bureau against Farrow and Jeff ignored it and never responded to the BBB so I filed a complaint with the State of Florida against Farrow Pest Services license. I told Jeff that I was fed up and I wasn't putting up with anymore of their nonsense and neglegience and Farrow Pest Services was going to make it right and rectify the problem or I'd take further action against them and Jeff blew me off so to speak and ignored this as well so I filed the complaint against them. Customers/Consumers do not hire this company at all unless you want to go through what I'm going through as well. This company shouldn't be in business at all. He immediately understood what I was asking for and made sure everything in the Farrow system was correct, so the treatment of my property can begin. He is prompt, knowledgeable, and professional .... and saved our deal that prevented me from looking to other companies to fill my needs. I wish I could have talked to him from the very beginning. FARROW PEST CONTROL THEY NEED TO STOP HARRASSING ME!!!!!!!!! OFFICE STAFF IS WORSE THAN LYING EDDIE THE SALESMAN!!!! If I could do zero stars I would!!! This lousy company sent someone named Eddie who claimed to be the owner to my house for an estimate. After being given the price I explained I couldn't afford it as I am on disability. Eddie proceeded to say "We can work something out" I told him what I could pay and he agreed! I paid my first 2 payments on time as agreed and I was then denied service until the entire initial amount was paid off. The agreement was to pay initial amount in 3-4 payments and by the quarterly charge, I would be even. They lie and are so greedy that they would rather rip off a disabled woman than hold to their agreement. I HELD TO MY END, WHY LOSE A CUSTOMER AND THE REST OF THE PROFITS, OVER GREED!! We have just begun using Farrow and are very happy with our service to date. Travis, our lawn tech, takes the time to explain each application, what we can anticipate and how best to care for the lawn between visits. Donny is the tree and shrub supervisor and is extremely knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time walking my property and educating me on our various vegetation. I had several concerns and he patiently addressed each one. He is a human encyclopedia! i appreciated his guidance (he shared with me a book for gardening) and feel we are in good hands with his attention and expertise. read more

This company so great, I need to recommend it so highly. We had an old Sarasota company doing our bug spray for so many decades, and they would come out again and again and I still had ants. We begged them to try and get rid of ants. Farrow came one time, and got rid to the ants!!! They are professional, do a great job, notify us when coming, and I could not more highly recommend them. Our condominium has been using Farrow services for several years for our lawn treatment. As we were very pleased both with the quality of service and the results, we added them for building treatment for ants, roaches, rodents, etc. Matt Farrow presented me with a detailed proposal of what areas would be treated and added additional areas for treatment which our prior service did not cover for the same price. Our technician introduced himself when he arrived for our first treatment. Marty is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about doing the best job possible. I was concerned about how successful the rat boxes were and asked for a check in between scheduled service. Marty was out immediately and gave me a detailed report. This quality of service is difficult to find and not what we had experienced with our previous provider. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Farrow. read more

A little pricier than other services, but having used the other I can say Farrow is excellent. They deliver the service when they say they will, they use the right products to make your lawn look amazing! I was getting HOA warnings with my last company, now that I have switched to Farrow my lawn looks perfect and my HOA is off my back. So, they are totally worth it. read more
