It was bad enough to demolish the movie theater and today I noticed only handful of turtles in the pond and barely any Koi fishes!! What is wrong w u?!! Its not all abt $$$ God knows u have enough of it! Let nature remain as beautiful as it has been all these years! My kids are adults now but still talk abt how cute and funny the turtles would be on top of each other and I have taken so many of friends and their kids to see the beautiful turtle pond! The shopping center was beautiful and great place for all to walk and enjoy amazing music and scenery! Now ther is huge ugly blue tarp w "making something beautiful" in the middle, parking is horrific and barely any turtles or fishes!! Tis Tis Tis

Whenever we have guests visiting from Canada or Europe, I like to take them to The Commons. They…read morealways enjoy the atmosphere. La La Land Cafe and the ice cream spot are our usual go-to places. Lately, the construction has taken away from the experience a bit, but I am hopeful that once it is finished, things will be even better. I just hope the updates are thoughtful and not simply focused on adding more retail, especially in place of something like the movie theater. It would be great to see additions that truly serve and reflect the community. For example, a fountain with a water show, similar to what you see at the Grove or Americana, would be a strong starting point. People and families already feel overwhelmed by the number of shops, and adding more does not necessarily improve the experience. Take Century City Mall as an example. After its remodel (many years ago) added many more stores, I personally stopped going. As someone who works in marketing, I know the first priority is getting people to visit. If visitors lose interest, as I did with Century City, then adding more shops defeats the purpose. I really hope they do not lose sight of what makes the place special. It would be a shame if short-term decisions ended up hurting the atmosphere that people enjoy.

Instead of verifying a same-day receipt, the associate (Fariba) and her manager defaulted to suspicion rather than verification. A receipt from a purchase made just hours earlier should have been the primary reference point. They relied on an internal process failure involving a missing "red tag" that was not on the item when sold and attempted to shift that burden onto the customer. That is a store issue, not a customer issue. There was no acknowledgment that closed fitting rooms directly affect return rates, and no adjustment in how the situation was handled. They did not account for context or apply basic flexibility in resolving the return. The interaction became repetitive and defensive rather than solution-focused. The lack of listening, judgment, and basic problem-solving made a simple return unnecessarily difficult. They should be embarrassed that this is their level of customer service over a $28 shirt. Fariba continued talking throughout the interaction, repeatedly trying to prove her point without resolving the issue. I ultimately had to ask her to stop talking so much and focus on the return, rather than continuing the back-and-forth. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD EVER HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE.
