What a quack of a dentist. Tell me how he botched my filling and now I need a crown. And his bedside manner is atrocious.

I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel obligated to…read moreshare. I'm currently in Florida handling my mother's affairs after her passing, and in the middle of all that I needed to see a dentist since I'm overdue. I thought this office might also be a good long-term option since I may be spending more time in the area. When I first called, I explained my situation. They initially tried to put me into a same-day opening due to a cancellation -- just 1.25 hours after I called -- which would have left me barely an hour to get there, and they pushed for me to have my prior X-rays sent over immediately to make it work. I told them that wasn't realistic (it ultimately took multiple calls and three business days to get them the records). As an alternative, they scheduled me for 9:00 AM the following Monday. I asked for something later in the day, since a first appointment right after a weekend can be tricky, but was told this was the only option. In hindsight, the urgency around filling that same-day slot felt more like desperation than a thoughtful patient experience. I went out of my way to make this work. I rearranged my schedule, made sure everything was submitted by Friday, received multiple confirmations including one at 7:00 AM the morning of, and left early to arrive by 8:45 -- 15 minutes ahead as instructed for new patients. At 8:30 AM, while I was already in the car on the way there, I received a call and text canceling the appointment. The reason: no hygienist available and they couldn't find a temp. I was also told they use temporary hygienists for cleanings, which is not something I'm comfortable with to begin with. Canceling at the last minute -- literally while I'm driving there -- after all the effort required to meet their conditions is unprofessional and inconsiderate, particularly given the circumstances I'd explained upfront. And requiring X-rays in advance for what was supposed to be a routine cleaning, only to cancel due to a staffing failure, raises real questions about how this office is managed. Now, already overdue and with further delay due waiting for this cancelled appointment, I have to start over finding a new dentist entirely. I understand things happen, but this level of disorganization and disregard for a patient's time is unacceptable. I have little confidence in how an actual appointment would have gone. I'd strongly encourage anyone considering this office as a new patient to think carefully before investing the time and effort. I certainly won't be rescheduling here.

I had been searching for a local dentist since relocating to Palm Beach. I found Care Dental right…read morehere on yelp. Booking the appointment was easy and I didn't have to wait weeks out for an appointment which was a plus since I was due for a cleaning. From Linda at the front desk to the hygienist to the dental assistants, the experience is more than pleasurable. Typically these days, staff can sometimes act as if they're doing you a favor by serving you but not here. One can tell that the staff is genuinely happy to have you there and also love their job which is always a plus. So after my cleaning Dr. Sutton came in to greet/meet me, checked to make sure I received a thorough cleaning and also did a new patient assessment. When he walked in I was like whoa! Can we just pause to acknowledge how beautiful he is?! Aside from that, he was very very gentle, super friendly, and very interactive. Not to mention super hilarious. He constantly informed me on what he would be doing, what he saw, any concerns, and complimented wherever applicable. He recommended a follow up which I went back for and let me tell you, you would not want a better dentist. As I said, you always know what he'll do next before he does it, any feeling or pain to expect and how much longer the procedure will take. You won't feel like a patient on a surgery table being worked on like meat, and I wasn't a drooling slob during any of the procedures. The interaction provided the assurance/reassurance you need as he makes progress. Im always so thankful to find a great healthcare provider, especially one that makes you feel like you're truly the focus of the care being received, rather than just another number. I look forward to seeing him and the staff every 6 months for my cleaning. Will totally recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. Even if you already have one, I'd even suggest switching.

They have started doing a follow up call the next day to make sure the procedures went well. That is another way that keeps this office separating themselves from the rest of the offices. There are many choices in dental offices in this area, but this one is really running smoothly and truly care.

Also be prepared to be asked for your insurance at every turn and take photos for them lol. I had to give it to the AI machine, upload it to there site on two different areas. When I came into the office, two different receptionists asked for the insurance. Honestly it was slightly annoying and made them appear unorganized. I have an extremely popular insurance carrier so I can't find a way to understand why they were forgetting. However, I understood they were trying to make sure the paperwork was completed. One of the receptionist that reschedules your appointment did not fit the brand of everyone else who worked there. She was slightly rude and discussing people's personal business in the office. I came in for my appointment at 2pm and the wait time was almost nonexistent. I only waited for about 4 minutes before they took me to the back to do ex rays. My experience with the actual dentist was extremely pleasant and he explained everything going on with my teeth in a way I could easily comprehend. He was also very warm and welcomed any questions I had. The hygienist who did my cleaning was sooo gentle and the best experience I've ever had. However, afterwards the reception staff was a nightmare. I had to be a constant mediator between them and the insurance company. After months of back and forth they received their payment from the insurance for the cleaning but it was such a hassle I've never encountered. Such a shame to walk away from them but I don't have 3 months after I get my cleaning to instruct them on how to deal with insurance companies. I'm still not sure about the real issue of why I had to heavily get involved but nonetheless I've decided to just make the long drive to my old dentist office for my cleaning. I might try them again if I walk by and the front staff is different lol just being honest. The dentists are top tier. I recommend if you don't mind the front desk staff

After having broken a tooth and told by a regular dentist that it needed to be removed, as well as the one next to it which had a new infection, I was ready to take both of them with me to the grave. Fortunately, calmer and more intelligent heads prevailed and I was given a reference to Dr. Michael Harris. That was probably one of the more fortunate things to have happened in my recent life. From the moment I walked into his office I was greeted by friendly, kind and professional staff who put me at rest immediately. They helped me through the paperwork process and ushered me into the exam room with just a short wait. Their scheduling was impeccable. The dental technician who took care of the preliminary X-ray process on an incredibly modern machine was wonderful. The office is thoroughly modern which I found comforting. From the moment I met Dr. Harris I knew that my many years of fears was totally ridiculous. He calmly and thoroughly explained the procedure by which he was going to extract my two teeth and assured me that he would keep the pain to a very minimum. He certainly was a man of his word. While no one looks forward to oral surgery, I feel thoroughly secure in giving my recommendation to ANYONE about Dr. Michael Harris in Wellington, Florida. He is a wonderful dental surgeon.

I was vulnerable, embarrassed, and hoping for honest guidance and real help. At the time, I still had some of my lower natural teeth and two implants placed by another dentist that were functioning well and looked fine. Instead of advising me to return to the original implant dentist, I was told they could fix my smile and make me look great. I trusted that. What I received instead was a bulky, unnatural-looking bridge that left me feeling humiliated and devastated. After paying around $22,000, I was left with dental work that not only damaged my confidence, but made daily life harder. Because of my autoimmune condition, chewing and swallowing were already difficult. After this treatment, food began getting trapped under the bridge whenever I ate, and I often have to use a water flosser immediately afterward. Something as simple as going out to eat now feels stressful instead of enjoyable. I later sought care elsewhere for cleanings only, because after this experience I was not ready emotionally, physically, or financially to take on another major dental reconstruction. Even so, another dental professional made it clear that the outcome I was living with was deeply concerning. That only confirmed what I already knew: I had trusted the wrong place with a very vulnerable situation. This was not just an expensive disappointment. It affected my comfort, my confidence, and my quality of life. Patients who are already struggling deserve honesty, compassion, and care that does not leave them worse than when they walked in."
