We called this company to tow an EV that had run of power due to an unforeseen circumstance. I…read moreexplained this situation to the person who answered the phone and we agreed it would need to be taken to a charger in the area. The driver gave us a price which we agreed to and picked my son up promptly. He went to the address provided. The bank of chargers didn't work so they moved it to several spots. My son had to physically help the driver get the car into the spots. When they discovered the bank of chargers didn't work, they told my son it would be another full charge of hookup to take him to a bank of chargers about a mile away. In addition they tried to charge him another $55 because they had to push the car to another spot. They left the car in a handicapped spot, at a dead bank of chargers and returned my son to the original pick up. We had to call another provider because we needed our vehicle to return home as it was getting late and we were unfamiliar with the area. The second company arrived in twenty minutes, picked up the disabled car that Piggyback just left there and had it at a functioning charger less than two miles away. He dropped the car off without our assistance, was fast, courteous and made sure we were SAFE most importantly. He didn't try to make extra money from a kid in a bad situation. The Piggyback driver knew all we needed was a functioning charging spot, the total mileage was less than five miles and all he had to do was move in to another bank a mile away without charging double. He saw an opportunity to make money, not the right decision and left us in a worse case than we started. Absolutely shameful.

If the truck was placed behind the vehicle from the rear we would not have been almost hit by passing vehicles twice. I had to assist to get the car on the truck so he did not damage it further. This was nothing more then operator error. It required me, as the vehicle owner, to intercede so the car was not damaged further. I will again emphasize that this company should not be used as damage and excuses will be the only response.
