The Chicken Cutlet Sandwich here was amazing. Chicken cutlet, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo on a hero -- it really hit the spot. There was a generous amount of chicken cutlet, but there wasn't as much lettuce and tomato. The bread was soft and perfectly warm. OMFG. What a bunch of nuckle heads. This used to be a great local location for true craft beers (and 7-11 type stuff too). Today....was a cluster F. We asked if we could Make our own 4 pack from single beers and we're told "yes of course." But no... when you reach the register you are not allowed to separate the cans from their original pack. They do have singles, but they are not refrigerated. Of course you can but singles of Bud or Corona and the like, but not the craft beers. Maybe I don't want a four pack for $25-30 of beer I've never had. The boss was a jerk and the 2 clerks behind the register had zero clue. Rang us up 4 times before getting it right and held up the whole line. They f'd over others on line before us too. Customer service dudes. We'll go elsewhere. Fast Break is a medium-size convenience store. They seem to be 24/7, hence the lack of hours on Yelp. The interior is brightly lit. There's a deli section. Most items don't have prices on them. A few containers of prepared food did have prices on them, but did not have anything identifying their contents. No expiration dates either. read more

Your typical convenience store. They are kind part of the small shopping plaza here. There's a really small lot but there is metered parking and alternate side. They have lotto, coffee, soda, beer and snacks. There's also a fresh deli here for sandwiches made to order. The store is pretty large too with three aisles and a large coffee area. read more

I want to begin by talking about that crispy turkey bacon egg n cheese on a roll. Delicious is all I have to say. This place allows you to place your order over the phone and pop in to pick up. so so simple but it's still the only place that can make it right. still can't beat a nyc corner deli/bodega for a fried (runny) egg sandwich on a kaiser roll. some must wonder what's the big deal it's eggs on a roll but it's that roll that you can't find everywhere is the key. as much as nyc is known for bagels and club bread, the kaiser roll is one bread that's overlooked and forgotten. read more

I've been a customer here for the past 10 years and I spend a lot of money every time I come here. I always buy their food and beers quite often and could spend as much as $50 when I come here. I know the staff fairly well and I've never had any issues, but after today I no longer can support this business. Today I had went to order a Bacon and Egg Sandwich without cheese (I do not like American cheese and I'm very clear about it), but they put cheese on it. I understand mistakes happen which is not for the reason for my 1 star review. I went back and told them the issue and the guy behind the counter was extremely rude and tried to say it was my fault and said he'll only replace the egg which had the cheese oozing from it and not the rest of the sandwich, which is very unclean because the cheese was all runny throughout the sandwich so a new one has to be made regardless. The worker then said, I'm not making another one unless you pay for it even though he made even admitted to the mistake. He had an attitude the entire time and as he was remaking the sandwich belittling me and cursing something I couldn't hear underneath his breathe. Thankfully I got my remade sandwich, but considering I'm very friendly to the staff here and they tried to rob me by saying I should pay for a sandwich that they messed up that I never even touched, and to have the audacity to argue with me over a $7 sandwich, I cannot support here. My appetite was ruined from the exchange and I didn't even eat it, I just gave it to some homeless guy that always hangs around the store. They are not willing to acknowledge a mistake and then try to blame it on the customer and that's not good customer service or honest, especially with peoples time, self esteem, and money . I highly suggest everyone stay clear and avoid, if this happened to me and I know them, it could easily happen to you. I will never come back here again. read more

Super awesome to find a bottle shop that has htf beers. Not so cool that the beers are twice msrp. Hopslam cans for 30, kbs for 30 a bottle. If you are desperately seeking to fill a hole in your heart with hard to find beers at 2x markup you've found your second home! The rest of us should avoid like the plague and support bottle shops who aren't trying to fleece beer lovers. read more

Stay away! I ordered a sandwich from here earlier today, and within 30 minutes of eating it, it was evident I had food poisoning. This was the only thing that I ate today. and it's obvious they do not clean their slicers. I will say the staff is friendly and as a 7/11 alternative this place is ok. I've been going to Fast Break for years. Usually for a quick coffee or paper it's convenient. However, I am still highly disturbed when last week, I went to pour milk into my coffee and it smelled very off. I told the man behind the counter about it... he then tells me he just opened the milk and there was nothing he could do. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It doesn't matter what the expiration is (which actually was the next day but should it matter?)- bad milk is bad milk. I haven't bought coffee there since. read more
