In addition to their own vulgar grooves, they pay homage to artists ranging from Gary Bartz, Gil Scott-Heron, and Michael Jackson to Burt Bacharach/Hal David and George Harrison. And they've been at this for over 30 years now - yet you look at them playing and they are constantly laughing and joking with each other. Somehow they still seem to love playing with each other, and that energy comes across to the audience at every show. !!!LADIES BEWARE!!! TRUST ANY BAD REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE. This place doesn't deserve any stars because unfortunately yelp doesn't have the option to do so. But hey here's a little story/rant time for anyone looking to check out this place: I went here to have a good time with my girlfriends for a girls night out to play pool. Everything was fine at first, we got a nice spot to play pool in one of the more secluded pool areas in the back, we ordered some food, ate, played some pool, and were having a pretty good time. BUT unfortunately this night was completely ruined because some crackhead looking ass man that goes by the name of "Jeremy" kept pestering my friends and I. He was "jokingly" throwing darts at us while we were playing and kept trying to conversation with us we all (WHILE THIS WAS ALL HAPPENING THE STAFF DIDN'T DO ANYTHING) I just ignored him trying to focus on my turn on the game but this little shit... had no only had fucking audacity my slap cue stick from behind me throwing off my move but also PURPOSELY slapped me on the ass (which was also witnessed by my friends) and darted our of the room laughing. I was so furious and heated I followed him outside of the private room screaming at him, "NOT COOL DUDE" and just going off how completely unacceptable his behavior was. While confronting him he kept trying apologize to me and even tried giving me money to buy us all a new game but I wasn't having it all... like really.??? you think giving me money is gonna fix what you just did???? LOL I THINK THE HELL NOT SIR. While this confrontation was happening, one of the staff members FINALLY came by (because one of my friends had to get her attention & call her over for assistance) but they were very quick to his defense insisting that he just hit my cue stick. So at this point I was just over having this man child in front of me and just told him "you know what? you need to just leave" and he did. But just keep in mind, neither of the workers barely did anything when I told him to leave and they insisted him on staying although he left on his own terms. I went to go rejoin my group of friends to keep playing, but I was still pretty furious and upset. So I went to go talk with one of the bartenders/waiter ladies to speak to them nicely to express my experience of what happened about how poorly handled the situation was. I questioned them about the man since one of the workers called him by his name possibly happened to know him. But they both came off as super judgmental and kept insisting that he just hit my cue stick like it was some harmless prank when he pretty much assaulted me. But the following thing one of the girls said to me just made me loose a couple of my brain cells and made me lose all hope in humanity for women kind.. she said, " well...... have you ever been to a bar before?" at first I was a little speechless and dumbfounded and interpreted the question more like, "oh it's a bar... what do you expect?" LOL acting like this was normal thing to happen??? especially women to women?? I mean let's be real, shit does happen when you go out to places like this BUT does that make it acceptable still? why is it an such an excuse to normalize such behavior? This is just a great example of how normalized rape culture is in society. I got so heated at her question. All my friends came up to me while I was talking to the two women and calmed me down. We all just decided to all leave because of the horrible experience, service, and treatment we got after that incident. Neither I or my friends are ever going back to this place ever again. So yeah.. with all that being said: Fuck you Fast Eddy's and your shitty management.. y'all need to rehabilitate everything especially the staff. Oh and get security or something too for fucks sake. If I could I would leave 0 stars This place I have gone to so often and loved being here but tonight this place has forever been ruined. I was attending Fast Eddie's with my friend to just have a nice night playing pool when it was disrupted with a crazy junky came in pretending to throw darts at our faces and being a nuisance. He then proceeded to slap my friend ass and try to bolt away, I called for staff member jess to help due to this man behavior. She right away went to defend him and awhen he tried to half ass apologize and pay us a dollar for his assault and disruption she again went to his defense saying the matter is over and trying to keep him to stay. The staff is promoting rape culture but asking my friend "well have you ever been to a bar before?" So because you're in a bar it's okay to be touched or grabbed and in this case slapped cause hey you're in a bar sonits alright? No its not and I'm greatly ashamed that this was tolerated and defended. I loved this place but now I wont ever be coming back and telling everyone I know to never go here again. Fast Eddy's has not had a fight in there for years. The place has been owned by the Cady family, all 9 of them for 30 years and they run a safe and family environment regardless of your opinions. All business at times have a bad element but those people are not welcome. Ladies night includes some of the classiest women in the county, from bank workers, college girls, lawyers and all around good people. To try to help the economy they now have a stimulus package where every day of the week there are specials to benefit the customer. Like free pool for men and women, added money tournaments, happy hour 7 days a week. I guess if it is as bad as you people say then explain how they could stay in business for over 30 years. We were all college aged people of color in our group. The two songs that they played in the back room for us were ild racist country ballads. Being an AVID pool player, I have to say that Fast Eddies satisfies my needs! The tables are full sized, and in good shape. But the beauty is when they refelt them. It seems like only a few get redone at a time (im sure it's very expensive) so you have to look around when choosing a table to play. The prices are resonable, and the atmosphere is exactly what a "poolhall" is sopposed to be....dark, and old. Nights are when the place gets LOUD, so if you want a serious game, go during the day read more

Fast Eddy's is the place to be if you wanna pick up a drunk townie chick, the kind that open beers with thier teeth and chew tobacco. Or if you plan on picking a fight with someone who has a PBR in one hand and a rusty switchblade in the other. this place is so dirty, I will absolutely never return and highly suggest it shuts down for the greater good of humanity. It was filled with cockroaches all throughout and I saw the biggest one of my life behind the bar. They only played 2 songs while we were there and they both about were about killing mexicans and told us to "get the f*ck out" as we were walking out. I hope this place catches on fire. read more
