Trusting that everything had been handled correctly, we submitted the paperwork so the transfer could be completed. Unfortunately, we later found out the form was filled out incorrectly, which forced us to make a second trip to the branch -- a 130-minute drive for us. When we returned, the same employee who originally helped us said she did not remember completing the form. Another staff member ended up assisting us, but instead of taking accountability, the explanations we received were inconsistent and unhelpful. We were also told that the form needed to go through an IRA specialist office, which was confusing since the original employee was presented to us as exactly that. This experience was extremely disappointing. We were planning to transfer a significant amount into this account, but the lack of knowledge, accountability, and clear communication from the staff has made us lose confidence in this branch.

I went to speak to a teller and show her the emails. I told her the package had not made it to its destination yet, so if it was fraud I needed to know in that moment to call UPS and have it shipped back. She adds in at the end that she MAY have seen emails like this and it might be legit. So I left it alone. Day comes for me to receive the payment for the package arriving and it doesn't come through. I go back to the bank and speak to another woman and she tells me it was fraud and there is nothing they can do at this point because I am not the one who sent money. Your bank system works with Zelle. How are your employees not familiar with a system your branch uses to deal with your customers money? What? That's why I come to you. That is exactly why I got in my car and drove to ask these questions in person. Was considering opening a business account here but forget that. Be carful where you bank and who you ask questions.

I'm not very satisfied with this Bank . It's not as terrible as US Bank was ( banked with them ten…read moreyears) , but Kings Federal aren't very helpful either. Since banking with this organization, I've had two concerns I've brought to their attention in which I know could have been handled better than they were . Customer Service stands at a 2.5/3. Kings Federal doesn't seem very concerned about customer service. Ive discussed this with other people I know and we've concluded that there is a difference in how consumers seem to treated based on income . I'm a single working mother who going to school . At this time I have a modest salary , but someday that won't be the case . If someone asked if they should bank with Kings Federal , I'd probably suggest they keep looking . There is worse out there , but there seems to be other places that place a value on the customer regardless of salary.
