Essentially I brought a perfectly good phone in to have the screen replaced and I paid $100 for them to completely break it and render it useless. I brought my husband's Moto G Power into Fast Fix Pro repair shop in South Orange, NJ to have the screen replaced on November 1st.  The phone itself was in otherwise perfect condition, as it was only 3 months old.  The employee I spoke with in the store said they needed to order the screen, but it will be ready the next day. The next day I called and was told the phone was ready. Shortly after that, they called back and said the phone actually wasn't ready because "the guy ordered the wrong part". I was told the correct part was being ordered and the phone would be ready the following day. The following day the correct part hadn't arrived. I was told it would be in and fixed the next day.  That narrative continued until Sunday, 11/7, when I was told the screen was fixed, but the battery needed to be replaced, and they needed to order it. When I asked why, since when I dropped it off a week earlier the battery was working fine, I was given a story that "the guy went on vacation" and the employee, Matt, I was speaking with, was left with the situation and didn't know what had happened. He assured me it'd be fixed and ready "tomorrow". On the 8th, the battery hadn't arrived, again I was assured "tomorrow" would be the day. On the 9th I was told the battery was ordered, was being delivered that afternoon at around 5pm and the phone would be ready by 6pm. I said this was unacceptable because my husband needed his phone for a meeting he was attending at 6pm that evening.  In order to expedite things, I offered to pick up the part, and was told where I could pick it up and was given the order number. I thought I was picking up one item, the battery for my husband's phone. No. I arrived at the location and was handed a package of several items. Essentially, I became their free delivery person.   When I got to the repair shop with all of the items, Matt said the phone would be ready shortly. While he was completing the "repair", i.e. putting in the replacement battery (which he said will be good for at least three years), I watched him as he nearly forgot to attach the finger sensor, and spent the entire time bad mouthing his co-worker, and telling me what garbage Motorola's are and that I should get a Samsung or an iPhone.  He also told me that the screen they put on the phone is defective. He said the bottom right corner is darker and that he'd order another new screen to replace it, but it'll work fine for now. He said they only get off brand parts for Motorola's and never know if they'll work or not.   He also told me that the reason this whole thing took so long was because, 1.) His co-worker thought I told him it was a Moto G Power 8 (which, I'm not sure exists, so if it does I sure never said that's what it was) and ordered the wrong screen and 2.) The battery went bad because someone "left it out or maybe punctured it". Originally I was quoted at $135 to fix the screen. At pick up, Matt said he'd only charge me $100 because it took so long and he wasn't going to charge me for the battery they broke.   I get the phone home and: 1. It looks like crap - glue tape sticking out of the screen, back and finger sensor and it has scratches that weren't there originally 2. The finger sensor doesn't work. Period. 3. The call feature doesn't work properly, i.e. it can make and receive calls, but you can't hear the person on the other end of the line 4. The screen does, indeed have a dark patch in the lower right corner 5. It doesn't charge and is totally dead now

They did a great job in replacing the back of my iPhone 14 Pro. The glass had cracked and they…read morereplaced it with a non-OEM. It cost $120. The offered to replace it with a non-glass back that not only replaced the back but also the lenses and other parts. This cost $160. I decided against it because they only had it in black and I preferred white.
