This business is an absolute rip off. I highly recommend video game 911 in Denville, I dropped off my PlayStation to get the HDMI port repaired. I was told originally that it would be 3 to 4 days and then every day after that I was given some bullshit story. I checked in again and Heather said, "Yeah it could be fixed, it's a simple case of screen replacement." She ordered the screen (she did not have it with her) and in 2-3 days, I checked again, and it was available, went there, and in 10-15 minutes she fixed it. it's been 7-8 days and though it's nonbrand, it's working fine. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST DON'T GO. I had an iPod touch that needed a battery replacement. We went inside and asked for a replacement the manger said she will give by Wednesday, we gave it on a Tuesday fyi. When it was Wednesday we called and she said,"It would be ready in a couple of hours." We called a couple of hours later and she said,"It will be done tomorrow". We called the next day and same excuse as last time. Next thing you know she was playing this game for two weeks were we called and said "in a couple of hours" which is code word for tomorrow. Also a weird thing to add they grabbed our money before they tried to fix our iPod. BTW this whole thing was almost $200. Get better repair men/woman services and don't procrastinate with your costumers! Finally we just asked for it back no fixes no nothing and we got it but our about $200 never came back. Yesterday, I called your store to check if you can repair unresponsive inside screen of Samsung Fold 4. Your manager told me they need to see the phone if it can be repaired. I brought it to your store. They took $50 approx and asked me to leave the phone until next day same time. Today, your store calls me and says the screen needs replacement and I should take it to Samsung store for cheaper replacement cost. The phone doesnt seem to be opened either. I am wondering why would your store charge me if nothing is done. Diagnostics dont cost $50. This is not good business practice. Amazing service here! I dropped my dinosaur phone recently (I still have the Note4, I know) and wasn't highly confident that I would find a place that could fix my cracked screen that resulted in a black screen. The owner was very helpful and honest. Samsung screens generally cost a lot more than iPhones so as a result, the cost to repair was not cheap. He suggested I get a new phone due to the price but did ask me it depends on whether I wanted the data on my current phone. I decided to just take the hit now despite the cost. Lesson learned, get an iPhone next. But I decided to just take the hit for now because tbh I'm just not ready yet for the switch haha. Although he did not have the screen replacement in stock, he was able to get me a screen replacement within the same day! I went to the store with two products that needed fixing both with broken screens. The first one they told me the price and I decide not to change the screen, the second I already had preordered screen I bought with me, without them telling me the price they put the screen on and requested me to pay the price of $65 dollars. When I asked them how much would they have charged to put on a new screen from their store they told me 75 dollars and it would include warranty. So requested them to see if they can do that, the person behind the counter then told me they they will charge me additional fee to remove the (my) screen and put on the new one. I am disappointed as they could have told me this prior to putting on the screen that this is what they were going to charge me or the cost of the screen bought from them. I paid for their services but I am disappointed as they could have better sold their own product (and also obviously saved me money) and could've kept me a returning customer. read more

TL;DR They lied about how long it will take to get it fixed, lied about the price, lied to me about what I said (I said one thing, they claimed I said another.... even though it was not in terminology that I've ever used), and refused to let me speak to a higher level representative. They took my money upfront and returned my laptop in the exact same condition as it was before. They refused any refund, even a partial one. My laptop remains sadly dead. Highly recommend you stay away from this business. The long version: Absolutely TERRIBLE service. I brought in my laptop to get fixed, explained the issue, they said it would cost x and they'd have it fixed end of same day (Friday) or Saturday for sure. Come Monday, I still haven't heard back and called to inquire, at which point they said it'd be available that evening. Ok. Turns out that they were unable to fix it, would need an extra 3 weeks to get an extra part to fix it, and it would cost an additional fee. I was due to leave out of state and asked for money back. They refused, claiming that they've explained the pricing to me and that the upfront fee was non-refundable. (They did no such thing.) They also claimed that I said one thing, when I said something completely different. I asked to speak with someone higher up and they refused. After months of we can't get in the building, they finally able to enter and told me the computer was fine but just needed thw screen replaced. Working with Heather was wonderful. This was during COVID and she really worked hard to replace the screen for two of our phones. Our Son's Moto G and my Moto X. She kept us informed and set really good expectations. She was able to get the parts in next day for the phone she didnt have parts in stock for. When she received damaged repair parts from her supplier she let us know right away about the delay. Legitimately cannot speak more highly of this place. First of all, Heather had to deal with my nonstop checking in and stress (I mean... I love my phone) and she did so with aplomb. Second of all, another issue arose during the fixing of my phone and they like, literally did insane amounts of research to figure out what was going on. Look - when you have an SE and do NOT want a computer-sized phone, you really want your phone to work, right?? No iPhone 10000s or whatever! I can't speak to the pricing generally cause it seemed totally reasonable to me, but I didn't like, check competitors or anything. But I definitely felt the price for the screen was more than fair, and my phone is back in one piece and beautiful - and that's sorta priceless. Seriously. The second time they gave me a cracked screen. I went back 4 other times because the "new screen" they claim to have put on was not working correctly. I chose to come here because of the positive online reviews, but was left very disappointed. I brought in my iPhone 8 with a broken screen. It was fully functional other than the screen being cracked. They replaced it and it looked fine. However, it was not calibrated correctly. So I took it back a few days later to have the mistake corrected. The second appointment took 45 minutes longer than it was supposed to and my iPhone was returned to me with a broken home button. I called attention to the fact that the home button was not functioning (it was perfectly in tact before I brought it in) and they refused to even acknowledge that they had made an error. Instead of taking any responsibility they referred me to Apple, explaining that I would have to pay another $125 just to fix what they broke. 6 Stars in I am allowed to rate above 5. Let's not discuss how my iPhone found its way into the pool but let us discuss how Raman proved to be a super nice and extremely talented repair technician. The phone was dead after its swim and I had it inside of a bag with silica to dry it out. I have since learned that this is not the right way to treat a wet phone and the first course of action is to turn it off, if it is still on, do not try to charge it and run, not walk to see Raman. After a discussion with Heather at the front counter, who could not have been nicer or more attentive, the phone was opened and diagnosed as repairable with a short circuit on the motherboard. The repair was done while I waited and at a very fair price. The work gets 6 stars, the customer service also gets 6 stars. I hope that I do not need many iPhone or ipad repairs in the future but if I do, I know where I am going. read more
